The Happiest Baby on the Block (DVD)

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Harvey Karp live at a speaking engagement recently. I am a huge fan of his work and I am amazed at this man's gift and talent for tapping into the psyche of babies and comforting them in such a unique and profound way. If you are having any type of difficulty with calming your baby then I highly recommend this DVD (or book). It shows you exactly how to make your baby comfortable and quiet. It also explains why these techniques work and what you can do for immediate results. I used this book everyday for the first month my baby was born. He was, and still is a fussy baby, but Dr. Karp's methods work every single time. If you do watch this DVD or read the book, then I also recommend buying Dr. Karp's CD of soothing, calming baby sounds. My baby boy loves these sounds and they put him to sleep instantly. I ordered this video after my easy baby gave me a couple of rough nights. The suggestions in the video and explanations were very helpful in understanding why my infant was so upset. It occurred to me that over half of the items suggested in the video my husband and I were doing instinctively but never dreamed of combining everything at once. Over all it was a big help and I definitely recommend it to first time parents.

When my wife told me about this I was very skeptical, but in order to please her I bought the DVD. Low and behold, the very first day we watched it, it was like we traded our baby in for a low volume model. If you follow the steps, it will work. But you must be very patient. Do not lose your patience and the instructions will guide you. Totally worth it, and I recommend to every new parent!

This video tells you some simple tricks that will have your baby sleeping better and because of this it will make your life better!! we were about to go crazy after a month and a half of no longer than 2 hours of sleep at a time after following this dvd we get from 4 - 6 hours at a time!!

Great video, great advice, and it works. The tips wo soothe an infant are easy and the work very well. The swaddling shoosing and more were lifesavers with our new baby.

As a father for the second time i found myself to be in more trouble then in the first time. Hearing from a close friend of mine about GERD and Colic babies my newborn had found herself in that state. It pondered me how to deal with it.
