It doesn't matter how many times you watch this great classic movie, it continues to grab you each and every time. We owned the VHS, now the DVD and whatever comes out next, we will purchase this movie again. Clint is his cool self...always an air of mystery to him...confident and complex. The music will always be in your head, like the sound in a Jaws movie when the attack was about to happen, there is no mistaking this soundtrack either. Eastwood and Wallach compliment each other beautifully..knowing when to bond together and when to move with caution. Lee Van Cleef plays his role perfectly...cold-hearted, hard and with one obvious objective. Eastwood and Wallach show compassion when it is called for. Having been a fan of Eastwood from his beginnings in Rawhide to the present...I truly appreciate the joy he has brought all of us throughout his career...no disappointments with him. As our men watch macho Clint, we women get to smile to ourselves over that striking man on the saddle. I even nicknamed my younger grandson "Blondie" after Clint's character in this movie. After all, if Clint Eastwood can be called "Blondie", then any male can.

While the Civil War rages between the Union and the Confederacy,
three men- a quiet loner played by Clint Eastwood (Unforgiven, Gran
Torino, Fistful of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, etc), a ruthless
hit man played by Lee Van Cleef (Escape from New York, The Octagon,
The Bravados, For a Few Dollars More, etc), and a Mexican bandit-
comb the American Southwest in search of a strongbox containing
200,000 in Confederate gold. In his third classic spaghetti Western
with Eastwood, director Sergio Leone (Duck You Sucker, Fistful of
Dollars, A Few Dollars More, etc)continued to shake up the western
movie clan with stylish photography and a hefty dose of cynicism by
Eastwood and Van Cleef. If you like the spaghetti westerns of the
60 s and early 1970s you will enjoy this one also. It is collectors
item for Clint Eastwood movie devotees as well as classic westerns
lovers. Will give you a full night of entertainment if you like this
type of movie.

Clint Eastwood Shines!!! This is a classic western for all to see. He is the golden angel in the movie. Another select few of my favorites but one that I could watch over and over again.

One of Clint Eastwoods great classics. A good movie for young and older adults. Lots of action and Shoot-em-ups. Clint's acting was at his best. A must see for adults of all ages.

Everything about this DVD is excellent-picture and sound quality--everything as promised. I have grown up as a true Clint Eastwood fan. "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" is his best work in the early "spaghetti Westerns," and had to be included in my Eastwood film library. Truly, there is NOTHING to dislike about this DVD!

A great movie starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach. Set in Civil War times, it tells a great tale of three characters after a bounty of $200,000. Considered one of the best movies of all time. A terrific movie for any person.

I bought this for my friend who, like me, is a fan of Clint Eastwood. We both loved it. This movie is, perhaps, the quintessential western for any fan of that genre and marks the pinnacle of Eastwood's characterization of the Man With No Name. The music, the plot, the dialogue... it's all wonderful and entertaining. I can watch this movie over and over and still enjoy it immensely. If you're looking for a gift for a western movie-watcher, a Clint Eastwood fan, or simply someone who likes good movies, look no further!

This is similar to your typical Western movie. But I like to watch it because it keeps you interested to see whats gong to happen next. To me its not boring as some Westerns can be.

If you like classic movies, you have to see this one. I always remember that theme song. If you have seen it, you probably know what I am talkig about. I guess they made the best westerns in Italy.

This movie The Good the Bad and the Ugly has always been one of my most favorite Clint Eastwood westerns. When I found it on a search as a used DVD I had no second thoughts on the quality or reliability of the product. After receiving my purchase the DVD and case were in like brand new condition missing only the shrink wrap. I paid only $4.85 for this item and that is including the shipping cost also. This DVD brand knew would have cost me around $14.00 a noticeable cost difference. I have purchased nearly all of my DVDs on ebay and nearly all of them were purchased as used items. I have never had a problem with any used DVDs that I have purchased. I know a lot of folks feel more comfortable with buying brand knew but think about it. It is a DVD that may get watched 2-5 times before it is damaged, lost or forgotten about. I have at one time purchased four used DVDs for just a few cents shy of $20.00 that is including the shipping cost. When I received them of course they were in like brand new condition no complaints. My secrets are look for the sellers who are regular sellers of DVDs or have a history of selling DVDs. Look for sellers who offer combined shipping if a seller doesn't then ask them sellers like us are also looking to do busyness. Most important learn how to use the search tools that ebay offers us for free. So with all said my review of this used DVD is a perfect 100 points and the movie its self The Good the Bad and the Ugly a great one to own especially for only $4.85

This movie is great, and i used to watch it with my father as a boy. the acting is good, and it has all the charms of an old western, as well as wry humor and many quips and one-liners in between action and a little bit of fictional history. altogether, this spaghetti western is a true classic that i recommend highly.

Last of the three "sphagetti westerns" that Clint Eastwood starred in and propelled him to fame. Good movie and a little long but truly enjoyed. Remainder of family enjoyed as well and great addition to our library.

THIS IA A GREAT MOVIE. I NEEDED IT FOR MY COLLECTION. IT WAS REASONABLEY PRICED WITH SHIPPING AND PRICE OF MOVIE. IT IS ONE OF THE BETTER OF THE CHEAP WESTERN MOVIE THAT HE MADE. I WOULD BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN. THE MOVIE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. GREAT MOVIE!

I t was made illegally probably not known by the vendor that sold it to me. They are out of business.
Of course the movie is great. It was copied off of 2006 MGM BOX-SET SERGIO LEONE DVD package. Just the GBU movie and features were copied on to this bootleg sale.

Fast and excellent survice. Got it to Iceland in few day's. The dvd was in good condition and I was happy with the movie.

I can't review this since I never received it. I am still waiting to see if Half.com refunds me my money or not since the seller never contacted me or sent the movie!
