Although often derided as a poor man's Replacements in the earliest years of their career, the Goo Goo Dolls quickly matured into a cannily melodic and smartly commercial alternative rock band with a knack for flannel-clad power ballads ("Iris," "Name"). The new version of name is great, its funny listen to the new one the grab "a bly name goo" and listen to the old one wow how his voice changed. If you're a true goo fan then buy it.
