The Godfather (DVD, 2004)

This is a mafia story that starts as Don Corleone and the New York crime Mafia. He is suddenly threaten for his life by his elder son's mistake of interrupting him at a crucial financial meeting. This is the climax of the movie. Sonny's mistake.

I bought this for my grandson who's taking drama in high school. He liked it. I remember it as a great movie.

My husband loves The Godfather, so I decided to buy for him. After talking with a few friends that have been using Ebay for a little while, I thought it was worth it to try. The price was very good and the transaction was nice and easy. I'm very happy buying throught Ebay and I've been buying more and more !!!

This is the greatest mob movie and will probably always be the greatest. Everyone needs to see this at least once in their lifetime because it's a classic. The acting is great in it and everything is just perfect. Must buy!!!!

This is a great movie if you like gangster type movies such as Goodfellas or even Casino. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I really don't feel like writing a review so basically rent the movie yourself and see if you like it our not, or you can be one of those "people" and download it and if you do not like it then delete it and then write in your blog about because I am sure people are just dying to read it.

Dysfunctional criminal has troubles with his whole dysfunctional family. Gee, I wonder why?

I received the DVD in new condition,undamaged and timely. I enjoyed the DVD and will put it in my library of movies to watch over and over.

I have seen the movie before but I wanted it on DVD and I loved the directors comments which explained a lot of the reasons and problems encountered in making the movie.

I am from the Napa Valley and found it interesting that some of the furniture used in the movie is now in Copolla`s winery!

Excellent movie like all movies of Martin Scorsese and the action keep us on adrenaline and nervous.

The Godfather Films was the first movies I watched as a kid..I loved them then and I still love them now..Marlon Brando plays Godfather Corleone as he grooms his oldest Son Sonny to take over the business he proudly shows off his youngest son Michael played by a very young Al Pacino who chooses to steer clear of the family business however when Sonny is murdered Micheal is called in to save the Family honor..his son being brought into the fold breaks the Godfathers heart..no wonder this great film won so many awards and rave reviews a not to be missed timeless treasure..5 out of 5 bars!

I consider The Godfather and The Godfather II one film. The first time I saw them, I saw them back-to-back. If this is the case for you, I'm sure you feel the same way.

Together or separate, in my opinion, their either the greatest film, or the greatest two films in the history of motion pictures.

I like this particular version/disk and plan on getting the sequel (the other half...) in the same format.

By this I mean that I like letterboxed versions of films the way they were when originally released. I hate extended versions, director cuts, special edition, blah blah blahs, etc. etc. I especially hate 2-disk sets where the second disk is nothing but a bunch of crap that wouldn't sell on its own, so it's packaged with the film to bring a higher price. This disk may have special features, if so I have ignored them and just watched the film.

Wonderful movie. Theatric experience. This movie is truly Francis FOrd Coppola's masterpiece. I loved it!

One of my favorite movies. I've owned 'The Godfather' before on VHS, and it was time to update my collection to DVDs. eBay and Half.com are always the first place I go to for great deals on media merchandise.

This the first time I have seen the Godfather in the DVD format. It is much better than the VHS version. This DVD was a bargain. I'll be looking for a good price for The Godfather II in DVD.

I love all the Godfather movies the first is my favorite.I never had a copy of it in my collection so I finally decided to add it. If you are a fan of classic movies this is one of the best everyone should have a copy.

Loved this movie reminds me when I was a lot younger when movie came out. All time classic with great acting! It speaks for itself!
