This is a cute but predictable story of the Rock who finds out he has a daughter when she shows up saying her mother is gone away. The Rock and his new found daughter bond and develop a great relationship as the Rock leads his team to the Championship Game. A warm and cute story sure to entertain all ages. A story to make any dad proud!

THIS IS A GREAT FAMILY MOVIE, IT'S HILLARIOUS, FAMILY ORIENTED AND GIRLY. WE LOVED WATCHING IT TOGETHER AS A FAMILY.

This is a very entertaining movie for kids & adults. It may not hold the attention for a child under 4 but if you have older kids, it's a perfect family movie. The plot is believable, the writing is excellent & best of all there isn't any mushy love scenes or bad language. It's a must see for any fans of "The Rock". He is absolutely fantastic in this movie & has great chemistry with the little girl. Two thumbs up!

Synopsis:
Quarterback Joe Kingman (Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson) is known as one of the toughest players to ever take the field. Blessed with amazing strength and agility, he's famed for being able to handle any hit, no matter how ferocious. Kingman's Boston-based pro football team, The Rebels, is chasing their long-awaited championship and Joe has been living the ultimate bachelor fantasy: he's cool, rich, famous and the life of every party--and there are a lot of parties. But his dream is suddenly sacked for a loss when he discovers Peyton (Madison Pettis), the 8-year-old daughter he never knew existed, on his doorstep. Now, just as his career is soaring, Joe must learn to juggle his old lifestyle of parties, practices and dates with supermodels while tackling the new challenges of ballet, bedtime stories and baby dolls--all without fumbling. Equally perplexed is his hard-edged mega-agent, Stella Peck (Bebe Neuwirth), herself without a parental bone in her body. But, as the championship grows nearer, Joe is about to realize that the game that truly matters has nothing to do with money, endorsements or even touchdowns--it's all about the really tough stuff: patience, teamwork, selflessness and winning the heart of the one little fan who turns out to count the most.

The trailers for this movie had made it look BAD that I was actually dreading to see it.The Rock was not the star of the show , but the supporting cast members were awesome! Young Madison Pettis stole the show! She was a joy and a half to watch and she had me cracking up. Also Roselyn Sanchez (the actress who plays the ballet instructor) was amazing! Why haven't I seen her in more movies?! She was charming, exotic, gorgeous and really a joy to watch. I really want to see both of these stellar actresses a LOT more! They did such a great job! The guys on Joe's football team were equally hilarious and caring, really bringing to life that whole concept of a team being like family. The Rock did a decent job as well and it looked like he was having fun playing that role, but it was really the supporting actresses and actors that made this movie so enjoyable. Overall, even despite the awful trailers for this movie, I highly recommend that everyone give "The Game Plan" a chance. You just might be pleasantly surprised.

My whole family loves this movie, including a 12-year old boy, 9-yr old boy, and 4-yr old girl. It has a great cast, plenty of humor, and it's a movie that can be enjoyed repeatedly. We've been wanting this and were pleased to find it for such a good price on Ebay.

Wanted to see this movie saw it on ebay and started bdding. I got it cheeper then if I would have rented it. Great price. Shipped fast. I decided to buy this movie for my daughter who is 9 yrs old. We had watched this movie together one night and we both laughed so much. I normally am unable to pay attention enough to watch a movie cuz I am always busy doing something. But this one was great. My daughter has watched it at least 20 times since we recieved it.

The "Rock" is the leading actor in this family/comedy movie. The Rock is the quaterback of the Boston Rivals football team. He has never won a championship title and he doesn't no why. He's single, has girlfriend and has lots of parties. Then a strange thing happens and a little girl comes into his life,his 8 year old daughter that he doesn't know anything about. His life changes and his football life changes. This an excellent movie. I recommend it.

great for boys and girls. all 3 of my kids love this movie and so do me and my husband! would definetly recommend.

This was a Christmas present, so it had to be right. There where many auctions for this DVD, but I chose a specific person based on their Positive Feedback percentage. You can find out a lot about a person by checking their feedback (Is this person a good communicator? Do they ship fast? If a problem arises, how did they deal with it?)

Some auctions where for bulk discs without the cases, or used dvds. Sorry, not for a Christmas present.

I don't like wasting time or money so I usually only bid on auctions by users with 100% positive feedback (with a high number of transactions). If they have 97-99% I will go check them out first, and see what others are saying.

Buyers, want to know that their money is going to get them more than the could by going to the store, that's why they "eBay".

Sellers, should also be able to expect to receive their money in a timely manner.

But I don't feel sellers should have to pay so much in Paypal and Ebay fees...that's why I don't sell anything on eBay. :-(

I bought it as a Chirstmas gift for me daughter. As she has seen the movie when it came out and loved it!! I also have bought a few more movies for her along with this one. Would like to still buy Wall-e before Christmas if I can. We have not yet seen it. I was going to give it to her on her birthday but am going to give her something different. A cute enough movie...my daughter loves it, which was the point. A few chuckles for the adult crowd. Relatively predictable but most of these Disney movies are being that they're intended for kids.
