The Fox and the Hound (VHS, 1994)

This is a very well done Walt Disney animated movie. I bought it for my 2 yr. old grandson to watch at my house to help him calm down before nap time. It does the trick! My husband and I even have enjoyed watching it.

The FOx and the Hound is another wonderful old movie. The quality of the film itself is great, and the story is wholesome as well as entertaining for little ones.
Why buy the movie? My grandson, Andrew,loves the old movies from Disney, but I cannot afford to purchase them brand new from a retail store. The used ones that I have received from Ebay are great, and when we are finished with them, they will go back on Ebay to some other frugal grandma.
The Fox and the Hound teaches a great lesson about accepting others who are very different from you--who might even be your enemy--an important lesson these days. I can also count on these old movies to be very language appropriate, which is not so true of the newer ones coming out.
Movies can be expensive if you buy very many. Ebay is the perfect place to find older or unusual ones and to sell them. I have had no problems at all with the quality of the films I've bought, but I feel that if I did, the seller would refund my money.
All the people I've met on Ebay have been as courteous and helpful as if they lived in my hometown.

My Grandson loves Siper the Fox on Dora and he loves dogs. I felt he would enjoy this movie and indeed he did. He is three years old he sat and watched the whole movie. There was nothing I disliked about it.

I love this movie and have since I was a kid (I'm 20 almost 21 now). It's a very sweet story of friendship and growing up. To be honest I think it is a little sad but that has never stopped me from watching. I'm would recommend this for any classic Disney fan.

Only vhs of fox and the hound i could find that was brand new:) I have watched the video many many times. I got it for my girlfriend cause it was her favorite. I would recomend this seller to anyone. Really really fast shipping and great communication

I bought this for my granddaughter. She loves it all of her movies here are on a vhs player. It was in great condition and I received it in a very timely manner. If only all the members of ebay were as professional it would be the greatest place to shop.

I loved this movie as a child and now at 25 I still love it!! My daugher age 2 loved it too and I loved watching it with her!! It is about a fox that loses its mother so an owl and a woodpecker and a sparrow help an older widowed lady to find it!! She takes it in and raises it!! A neighbor of theirs gets a new hound dog puppie! The fox and the hound dog become friends and then the hound dog and his master go on a long hunting trip! When they come back they have grown up and the dogs master is after the fox but the hound dog does not lead him to the fox he lets him escape!! It is really a great wholesome family movie!! One that you and your children can enjoy time and time again!!!!

Walt Disney's "The Fox and the Hound" is a great movie for a grade-school aged child. My son is not quite that age, and there are some animal fight scenes that were tastefully done... but not exactly what a younger child may need to see. We love movies with animated animals, so in general we still watch it. I just fast-forward through the stuff I don't think he should see at this age.

a very cute story a young fox, todd becomes friends with the hound dog copper whom realizes he is supposed to hunt animals like foxes one of my favorite movies copper and todd retain there friendship a great movie for kids and adults alike.

hello,i bought the dvd the fox and hound for my grandchildren,,they love to watch movies,when i first saw the movie i fell in love with this movie and now my granddaughter love's it too.

My granddaughter has watched this movie since she was 3. She wore it! She missed is so much that I purchased another off ebay auction. I consider lucky to have found the excat one with the same cover picture.
This movie shows compasion through an elderly woman and the animals. It shows how friendship can be loyal even if ones duty denies it. As Copper and Tod grow up Copper learns that he is not supose to like this fox he loves so much.
As Tod grows up the widow sees how much Tod needs to be where he can have the protection she can not give him.

great family movie every one loved it . this is real good for the kids. we have watched it lot of times with the grand son.

My 17 year old grand daughter had this tape and sill had the case but someone took the actual vhs, I repurchased it for her and she was delighted, the things we do for a grandchild...........EBAY is great for the hard to find and out of print. THANKS

I bought this movie because it used to be one of my favorite books when I was younger. The story is so moving and adorably illustrated with fuzzy animals. This is a great movie that teaches about friendship and loyalty and Disney continues to capture the magic and make the movie really come to life.

This is a cute movie about a fox and a hound that become good friends at a young age; and when grown up, they face obstacles; but they never lose the most important thing, which is the caring and friendship that they have for one another.

I bought the movie because my daughter wanted it. She has a big collection of Disney movies. Thanks to ebay, I have all of the movies that she wanted to have that I could not find anywhere else.

I don't think there was anything about the movie that I disliked.

I recommend it to all kids out there.

I bought the Fox and the Hound video for my son when he was a boy and it was his favorite of all the Disney movies. When my daughter borrowed the tape several years later to show her children,they destroyed it and my son was upset. He is in the Navy now and what a nice surprise to present him with another copy of his favorite childhood movie. Sometimes it is the little things in life that brings the most pleasure. The video arrived in excellent condition and I am happy to give my son a piece of his chilhood back and let him reminence about the good ole days!

I like it because it is a Disney Classic which as far as I know, can not be purchased in a store. I purchased it for my grandaughter. I did not have this specific movie in my collection of Disney movies and I heard the value has also gone up on this particular movie.

This is one of my favorite Disney movies. It's about an unlikely friendship between a fox named Tod and a hound named Copper. When they're young they believe they'll be best friends forever, but things seem to change once they've grown up. I won't give away the ending for you who haven't seen it yet.

If you enjoy Disney movies, then you'll more than likely enjoy this movie as well. It's a classic!
