The Final Countdown (Blu-ray Disc, 2008)

I saw the original movie in 1979 in the theater but seeing it re-mastered in Blu-ray was awesome. This movie was hidden away in a vault for 25 years and never released on video or DVD until 2004. The Blu-ray was released in 2008. I had tried to get a copy of this movie for years but had given up and only found out about it's release recently. This movie has been compared to the Philadelphia Experiment but it is in another league all by itself. The F14's in this movie were flown by the best Navy pilots in the world at that time. I had a houseful come over and watch it and they loved it. Highly recommend you purchase this movie in Blu-ray with both DTS Master HD and Dolby True HD audio included on disc. The extras include interview with the producer and actual pilots who flew the F14's.
