The Fast and the Furious (HD DVD, 2006)

Sure, the plot is beside the point, but with eye candy like this, who cares? Universal has produced a stunner of an HD DVD release for 'The Fast and the Furious.' High-quality video, a top-notch soundtrack and plenty of extras make this a clear winner for the format. If only there was a Dolby TrueHD track and better exclusive HD content, this would have been four stars across the board. As is, 'The Fast and the Furious' is great demo material, and a disc you have to watch at least once to see what your HD DVD home theater rig is truly capable of.

These two DVD's would not play on any DVD player...
Tried to play these items and am still not sure what the problem is.
They were both still in original wrappers..Im thinking that they arent coded for the USA region 1...

I wanted to see it in hd, and it had a great price. Because i just got 2 hd lcd tv and wanted to see what the hype is. so i got The Fast and the Furious (HD DVD ).
it pretty good so far.

This is a trivial, mindless romp of brilliant special effects and really shows off a good TV and HD player.
DON'T look for substance here...it's like going to a gorgeous prostute to discuss Chaucer!

this is an excellent movie, i owned it on DVD but felt it needed the true HD experience.
i was right! it loooks, sounds and feels like true perfect racing!!!

the movei is good but i dont like the seller all he wanted was his money he did not care if i was satesfy with his prodic. i desided to go on ebay and find this movei but i did not think i was going to get a difective prodic i the stupid dvd wont even play on my expensive dvd player or on any other dvd player i tryed playing this dvd on 10 diffrent dvd player frend an relitives to see if it workd and it dosent work i told the seller about this problem and he did not care i email him and he egnors my email man now thats a shity sell i will not buy from him from agean or recommend him to the holl ebay wold.

For crazy car fans like me, this movie is one of the best car movies for the century, and its in hd dvd, as I know hd dvd went out of business, but tho.. blu-ray doesnt have fast and the furious yet.. also its cheaper, its like you are getting more bangs for the bucks.. its the same thing.

It's about an undercover cop whos trying to find the group of guys who are hijaking tractor trailors hauling loads of electronics worth alot of money. If you like Fast cars and attitudes - you'll love this movie!!!

I love this movie. Like Fight Club, every time I watch it I get something different. This has always been one of my favorite movies because it highlights the contrast between human nature and technology. Cars, guns, bikes, money, people...great movie...especially when the black charger enters the picture. Unfortunately I bought the HD DVD version not realizing that it wasn't a normal DVD mastered in HD...won't play on my blu-ray player in any mode but I did go out and buy a regular copy to replace my scratched regular copy. Quality of the standard DVD isn't too bad on upconversion through a huge LCD TV. If you've never seen this movie you've got to go buy the DVD. It will blow you away.

I bought it because i always loved this movie and the opportunity to watch it in HD had me intrigued. So i decided to check eBay and buy it. It may be an older movie but i still think it is one of the best car movies out. It's what started the street racing trend.
