Good Collection of Tips

This book is a 1995 publishing of a collection of tips from many years past. There are a lot of goodies in here for many types of jobs around the house and surrounding areas like the roof, backyard, garden, etc. Some tips will definitely be familiar and common-sense, but others might give you a 'Eureka!' type moments and 'Why didn't I think of that?'. All in all, following the suggestions in the book will save you some money and headache, and in some case even some time. A good percentage of the tips are definitely dated, i.e. who will now be able to buy saltpeter at the neighborhood pharmacy. However, even most of those oldie-goldie tips are just as applicable today as 30-40 years ago. I'm certain that if you were to buy a similar type of a book published in a last couple of years, most of the tips will be the same with maybe a small part being updated, i.e. putting clear film stickers on you iPod screen to prevent scratches, etc. Besides, how can you go wrong with a $1 book full of useful everyday tips.
