Great For Learning How to Evangelize

This is a great bible for the layman to learn how to defend Christianity to various groups of people. Article are put throughout this bible and there are even study notes sprinkled throughout. Its a shame that Ray Comfort and gang do not believe in the full power that the Holy Spirit has for us today. This limits the potential of this book. In any case, if study bibles are your thing, (they are for me because i am a new Christian) i wouldn't make this one my main one. Although full of notes, the main focus is on evangelizing and one to one witnessing. And for that it does serve its purpose. For deeper study, may i recommend the Jimmy Swaggart Expositor's study bible, if you are pentecostal or want to learn and know of the Holy Spirit's full power. And before anyone starts thinking about Swaggart's past, which is reprehensible, we must also remember what the Word of God says in Romans 11:29, telling us that "... the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable".
Anyhow, back to the Evidence Bible. The leather version is bonded leather, and may i say with all due respect that this is not a $50.00 bible. Its not the stiff bonded leather that we all dislike, but it feels plasticky. the paper can be best described as very tough newspaper type, and something about the font and the illustrations make it aesthetically look a bit "not serious".
Not spirit filled, but filled with information nonetheless, i would say get this one as a second or third bible. As one guy said whose name escapes me at the time, "you have to eat the meat and spit out the bones."
peace out homie G!!
