The Elements of Style by E. B. White, William Strunk (1999, Paperback, Subsequent Edition)

The very thing for high school and college students (and beyond) with short attention spans or little time... I liked everything about the product, except you need to work on communication. When you ship the item, notify the buyer and thank him/her. Good job!

Really helps with items you're stuck on. Some of the phrases like...is it "lay down" or "lie down" are covered. A great book to have for just about everything!

This is a classic handbook on how to write good....uh, how to write well. We all fall into writing traps and faults, and referring back to the 'Elements of Style' reminds us where they are. It also tells us how to fix them. In these days of text messages and emails, our language is being assaulted by shortcuts, laziness and indifference. (I blame the schools... and technology.) Some of us need to buck that trend, and this book can help.
