I have this book in the paperback version. I've read it once and am in the process of reading it again (two years later). It's probably my favorite book ever and I wanted a hardback to keep displayed in my library!!!!! If you are a dog lover, and especially if you are a Pitbull fanatic (like me), this is a must-read!!!!

) This book is about pitbulls,Bulldogs. Things about these powerful dogs we really don't understand. Or any other dogs for that matter. And what we don't know about research. "Research" ??? It makes you wonder about research or as they say a legal word for "abuse"... But without it, we wouldn't have Dr's. I am a dog lover and with this book I understand a little more about everything.
I really couldn't put it down. I don't cry when reading any books, but this book had me in tears.

) I decided to purchase this book after seeing a pitbull foundation booth at a local county fair. I have 2 pitbulls and they bring such great joy to my life and the lives of my family. The author is a pitbull advocate and wrote this book to explain the many misconceptions surrounding one of the most misunderstood dog breeds. This is a riveting and powerful book. A book for dog-lovers and non dog people alike. Read this if you have been prejudiced by the media and have yet to understand the numerous reasons why so many welcome the courageous, loving, intelligent, friendly, smiling, and tenacious pitbull dog into their homes.
