The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz 2007

As usual, Dean Koontz did not disappoint me. I have read all of his books and loved them. This one was great. This story was more true to life than his usual supernatural tales. It still had some supernatural, but the majority of it could have definately happened. I am a dog lover and I was thrilled that the story wrapped around a person that operated a dog rescue business. Dean Koontz usually has dogs in his books, but in this book you get to know the dogs, intimately. I thought it was great and recommend it to all Koontz lovers and say that you will not be disappointed with the story.
