The Dark Tower by Michael Whelan, Stephen King (2004)

This was an excellent end to the Dark Tower Series, although I am one of those who hate to see it end. Roland has a heart and happiness is found for others that you wouldn't have thought possible. Hard to put sown once I started reading it.

i had the complete series of seven books and sold them soon after i regretted that decision and found the missing ones in the series that i needed. stephen king is one of my favorite authors and i loved the series and have followed it since it began and waited many years for the conclusion. overall i am extremely satisfied with the book.i would recommend this series to anyone interested in a twist on the western frontier.

A great read for anyone who loves the series style companion-quest story. King creates a vivid world, a mission with a mystical draw, and an interesting group of companions to care about.

This, the final book in teh Dark Tower series, is pretty entertaining so far. I'm only a couple hundred pages in. I heard it's disappointing.

This was the last book in the series. As always with King's novels, it is spellbinding and has you wishing it would continue on.

I'm a major Stephen King fan. I've waited for 20 years to read the whole Dark Tower series. As usual, he zeros in on good and evil and gives a good ride. The Dark Tower 7 is the last of the series. I was curious how he was going to handle the resolution and I was pleased with the ending. I think he's spot on. I'm am now feeling empty as I was filled up by reading the 7 books. I got to meet all the characters and get involved in their lives. They became a part of my family. That's how good King writes for me. Our relationship is over but I will remember these 7 novels and the final ending of the series.

Very disappointing conclusion to the series. As a long time fan of the series, I absolutely hated the direction of the last three novels. Sorry, Mr. King, but you really should have left it good at "Wizard and Glass" and allowed people to find their own ending - that would have been a lot more satisfying.

I loved the book and it finally gave closure to the Dark Tower series. I have been searching everywhere for the book but could not find one in my price range.

This story started approximately 20 years ago. It is a wonderful fantacy. I've read all the other six books in the series, and enjoied them emensely. I love Stephen King's writing style, and this book holds true to that style. I purchaced this novel to find out the ending of this long and wonderful tale. It's 830 pages proved to be an intrigueing end to a truely epic adventure.

I completely love this book. It wasn't my favorite in the series but its still a good read, especially if you want to know what happens when Roland reaches his destination. The long awaited Tower! Big surprise at the ending, but you have to read it to find out. This is a good buy if you definitely want to read something different. I decided to buy it to add to my Stephen King collection, and also to read them over and over again.

I BOUGHT THEDARK TOWER VII BECAUSE I STARTED THE SERIES 3 YEARS AGO AND GOT HOOKED . STEVEN KING WRITES ABOUT A WORLD SO DETAILED YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE IT IN YOUR MINDS EYE.WHEN I FINALLY GOT DARK TOWER VII, IT WAS EVERYTHING I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. I LOVED EVERY MOMENT I SPENT READING IT . THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH IT IS THE ENDING.I WISH HE WOULD WRITE JUST ONE MORE.LOL.

Great read, vintage King, great buy on ebay. Sad to have the series end, but like all good things.....

For all Stephen King fans of the Dark Tower series, it's finally here! Something we've been looking forward to and yet dreading at the same time for so many years. Well worth the wait. King outdoes himself with this final chapter on his epic tale of the gunslinger and his ka-tet. The characters, as always, feel like people you actually know instead of someone you just read about. The story is always lively and engaging, and completely absorbing. And while the ending may not have been to everyone's liking (I've heard a few grumbles here and there but I'm not spoiling the plot) it's vintage King. The beauty of his stories are you can make what you want of them. This entire series is a must-read for anyone looking for something good to sink their teeth into. Bravo Mr. King, and thank you for years of enjoyment.

I am a die hard SK fan. I have read all of the books in this series over and over waiting for the next one to be released. I definitely loved them all. I love this one also, but with exceptions (though I hate to). SK is a wonderful author and he really brings the characters alive. I always feel as if I am right there with them when reading one. Though the ending makes sense, I felt letdown that there was not a cut and dried finality to it. All in all a must read, and definitely worth it.

I bought this for my husband and he can't put it down. I am always amazed by the good buys on e-bay. I could not have purchased a hardback copy of this book anywhere for the price I paid for this one. Another great purchase!

I love this book. Perfect last book for this series. I couldn't put this book down. Stephen King is the greatest writer of all time, to me anyway.

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King is unforgetable. The characters are true, the story is full, and the writing is excellent. Although I rate this book excellent, I do so with hesitation. I have to admit, although I cannot think of a better ended at this point in time, for an author of Mr. King's talent, I did except more. The ending was sub-par. Perhaps this is because the rest of the journey to the Dark Tower was so well done, and therefore, the ending didn't live up to its expected hype.

This book had some very interesting characters in it. This book had mirror worlds in it, and some desciptions of the way it was in it. I liked it when the cowboy in it kept meeting rivals. I won't tell you what happened, it'll ruin the ending. I just liked the book, because the writer really sets gets you. I was able to picture everything as he was going on in the book. I give this book both thumbs up.

I love all of Mr.Kings book. I wish I knew others who have read this book? I dont fully understand some parts of it. Would love to talk with others and get their aspects.
But I needed to buy it off ebay so i could finally see how story ended. Great Book, CR
