I find the crucible to be a bit of an eye opener about the salem witch trials and how chaotic of a time it was. It showed good examples of mass hysteria and fanatical beliefs.

book is pretty new not alot of marking...the story is ok since is written during the 80's...need teh book for U.S. history class so it shouldbe very helpful

This book was extremely dry. If you like play books, where every line is titled by who is saying it, then this book is for you. If you do not like that, and hate the old style of talking(i.e. cometh, talketh) then stay away from this book. I hated every minute of it.
