Great resource book. It has all the answers to your crocheting problems. Plus I enjoyed the great tips. I highly recommend it.

This book is a wonderful book it has all the answers, and I can't say enough about how great the book is, a must for every one who has ever had a question about crochet.
It is small enough to carry with you and I have learned so much by using it.
If you are in doubt buy it you will love it.
She has anticipated every situation you may encounter and offers clear, complete, answers, along with easy-to-follow diagrams.

I purchased this book on behalf of a suggestion from my teacher in my crochet class. This book has all kinds of things that I did not know about crochet...it has everything you could possibly want to know about crochet with nice illustrations as well. It is small and can be carried around easier. The cost was very reasonable as well.GREAT Little "BIG" Crochet book!

I have really have enjoyed the "The Crochet Answer Book" because is it simply written. If you have a particular problem, you can turn to the index and chances are there's a question and answer for it. However, I wished that there were more illustrations...preferably with color. I think the visual and written instructions together would prove to be more effective in teaching and explaining crochet concepts.

Crochet is in again! Those of us who grew up in the 60’s and 70’s remember it well, but there is a whole generation just discovering crochet as a means of self-expression.

The Crochet Answer book is a worthy companion to the Knitting Answer Book and I think they both belong on every fiber artists’ bookshelf. I carry my copies in my knitting/crochet basket for easy reference.

Edie Eckman’s book comes aids crocheters with dozens of well-thought-out questions, comprehensible answers, and chapters on topics ranging from equipment needs to resources for more information. She includes illustrations and charts for added explanations.

Best of all, her can-do personality and gentle humor shine through, comforting the unsure crocheters among us. Who could quibble with her response to the question "I put down my afghan for a year, and when I came back to it, my gauge had changed? What happened?" Responds Edie, "Life.”

Being a "good" crocheter is a matter of confidence. You need to be confident in what you are doing and in how to figure out what to do if things aren't going quite right. Understanding why you do certain things and why they turn out the way they do increases confidence and leads to successful crocheting.

This book answers some of the most common questions crocheters have, and anticipates some questions you didn't know you had. The Crochet Answer Book will lead you down the road to gaining the confidence that makes for good crocheting. Highly recommended.

Of all the books that I have read and bought this by far is the best value. I keep it out this my current project as a quick reference quide. It's size is perfect and it includes all the info you may need.

Book was priced much lower than in a craft magazine where I first saw it. And it is very helpful for a crocheter like myself to have available to reference any crochet problems I may have.

I absolutely LOVE this book. I finely decided to purchase my own copy after repetitively borrowing a copy from the local library and never wanting to return once my due date comes up yet again. The Crochet Answer book is the perfect size to fit in most any crochet bag and extremely helpful when your mid-project and totally space about how to accomplish the task at hand. I have more then once relied on this book to pull me out of a jam and each time the book as done exactly that with very successful results.

Every time I open the book (just so see what it has to offer) I find really useful information that I have over looking in my previous readings. This is definitely a Index use book and not one that is meant to be read front to back (though there is no rule that says you can't).

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who crochets. The Crochet Answer Book is a very helpful text reference that you will NOT be disappointed with. This book is worth every cent.

I'd been crocheting for years, but I wanted an easy answer book that would help me with the little things I would forget or just want to check up on. I went to the library and took out over a dozen crocheting books and this one was by far the best. I had to have a copy for my own collection. Its easy to understand directions made it a good choice. And the size was a plus. Easy to throw in any handbag with your latest project and take with you. I have recommended this book to all my friends who crochet. And I got a copy for my mom. Its good for all levels.

This book arrived very quickly, is a hard back, and is way better than I expected it to be. From the description I thought it would be a great book, but I was utterly surprised at how wonderful the details were, and how clear and easy to understand the pictures were. Very easy to read, answers all of your questions, and I would recommend this as a *Must Have* in any collection for someone who crochettes. Would make an excellent, surprising, gift as well.

Recién me inicio en el crochet y como toda principiante tenía muchas dudas, entonces decidí copmrar el libro ya que en mi país me es imposible conseguir un libro similar a este. La verdad lo recomiendo 100%, tiene todo, incluso direcciones para consultar en la web. Su tamaño es ideal para llevarlo en la cartera. Esto es genial ya que aprovecho a hacer mis proyectos cuando viajo en omnibus. La encuadernación es muy buena. Lo recomiendo 100%.
