Concise yet comprehensive history of Islam influence on
Review created: 10/10/06

Seeking to better understand the current world situation I chose this book. It is well written and scholarly, and although I had to reread several passages it certainly gives great insight into the background behind the current state of affairs. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a short history of Islam with special emphasis on its implications to Western civiliation today.
