I saw the movie "Miss Potter" and wanted to have as collectors item. I wanted to see all her drawings and read the tales of Peter Rabbit and her other characters - all 29 of her published works. Plus this book had introduction about the author to compar with the movie.

The book was ordered for my 7 year old daughter. We received it in a very timely manner and the condition was almost perfect. She has enjoyed reading the book tremendously.

I absolutely love this book! It is such a classic and an awesome addition to our small but expanding collection for our soon to arrive son!

this is a great book for any one who likes a good story, or has a great imagination. it can also be helpful for children who are expanding their vocabulary, mind,and imagination. however it does contain some pictures of animals smoking pipes and talks of rabbit tobacco. these present excellent opportunities to talk to children about the dangers of smoking, but some might want to wait before letting their child read about those things on their own.

I had forgotten how enchanting these stories were until I saw this book for sale. I remember hearing them read to me in the first grade. I'm 59 yo old now.

I don't think stories are written now to the same high quality as they were years ago. These stories are clean and with no political objective.

Now I am reading these stories to my grandchildren and they listen with the same attention and enchantment as I remember.

These little childrens stories come highly recommended. I also recommend stories by Helen Bannerman and Georges Duplaix if you can find them.

I have a renewed interest in Beatrix Potter after watching the movie "Miss Potter". This is a lovely book, with all her lovely stories and pictures included. I bought it to share with my grandson, but have enjoyed reading the stories for myself.

I renewed my interest in Beatrix Potter after the recent movie and I thought it would be fun to reread the tales and examine the art from a different perspective. I find the animals' names very intriguing.

Lovely collection with the original illustrations. Too large for little hands but something to read together.

After watching Miss Potter, the movie about her life, I fell in love with these stories all over again. They are wonderful tales for small children and make perfect bedtime stories -- not too long, but enough to satisfy little listeners. This collection has the original stories as Potter wrote them with her own illustrations. They are not the watered down drivel you see so often today. They are also printed in the order of the original books so that you read them in the sequence the author intended. My children love this book. It is a pretty enough volume to make a hand me down keepsake for grandchildren yet to come. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

My wife and I saw the movie "Miss Potter" and just absolutely loved it. We watched it twice. So, I decided to search for Beatrix Potter's complete works and to give it to my wife for our 37th wedding anniversary. She loves it and has her head buried in it right now. This is just a beautiful book to eventually hand down to our kids and grandkids.

I decided to buy this book because I am creating a library for my daughter. I want her to have the old classics that I remember reading as a child. This book gave me the opportunity to have a compilation of Beatrix Potters Books.
