The Complete Soapmaker by Norma Coney, Norma J. Coney, Sterling Pub (1996, Hardcover)

I picked this book up at the library when I had decided to dabble with making soap. I liked it so much, I had to own it for my private library. It is very easy to follow and understand. It gives excellent step-by-step instructions. This book makes soap making fool-proof.

This great book is well illustrated with color pictures from the most novice crafter to the most experienced. Since I'm new to soapmaking, but not new to crafting I throughly enjoyed the safety remarks, recipes, pictures and ideas. I read through it now I'm reading and making soaps. Super fun!

Hello! I bought "The Complete Soapmaker" book---because I am still "young" at soapmaking...and you can never have enough soap recipes anyhow! 8-) This book is 128 pages PACKED with Beautiful photographs...and easy to understand recipes and directions! It starts with the basic introduction to soapmaking, the proper suggested equipment you should have...trouble-shooting, and even decorating and packaging! There are over 50 hand-mill recipes in here...! Beautiful book..! (Well, mine now has post-it notes sticking out of it everywhere...) So, incredibly useful too! You won't be disappointed...!

This book has tons of information.I found this to have step by step instructions on how to make diffrent soaps,Also recipes for diffrent scents.Very easy to read and understand.Many color photos.I can hardly wait to use this book to make soap.This was a great purchase.

This book provides the very basics of how to make soap in a well thought-out, methodical way, from materials needed to more advanced milling stages. Excellent text and color photos.

There are lots of good info in this book, safety while making soaps. Also some basic gift, craft, nice soap recipes.

This is a great book with alot of information to make natural soaps. I have been making soaps for 3 years now and I wish I had this book from the start. It would have saved alot of research time.
