A mix of hip-hop/rap and alternative, creating a chill-out mood. Has a great beat, especially on a good sound system, and he has an original voice that works perfectly with the music that he's created.
The only reason that it's not a five is that it can get repetetive if you listen to it too much (which I do, because it's that good).

I have probably listened to this CD 100x since I bought it..."Sideways", "Pablo Picasso" and "Bullet & Target" are my favs...you'll love it!

Citizen Cope mixes hip-hop and reggae in a ballad style that is unlike anything you can find on the radio. This album conveys a sense of longing that connects with those awkward moods I sometimes feel.

Citzen copeThere r many things that make citizen cope a great band once you listen 2 them you will understand. The best out of all there cd's. wide variety of good songs. this is the type of cd that can be enjoyed many times.
