I love the interesting twists and variations given by Ms. Boyle to cakes that are far from humdrum in the first place.. It is a great book for an experienced baker but the recipes are also great for intermediate ones as well. The minute you open this book you drool for the cakes in the pictures and can't wait to get started in a baking frenzy.

) The Cake Book by Tish Boyle is a wonderful book to own if you love to bake. It has everything you could thing of. I would recommened to buy for yourself or to give to a baker as a great present.

Very good book to make beautiful and delicious deserts for your family and friends. If you are expecting a book with many pictures this IS NOT the right book. It doesn't have many pictures but it's a wonderful reference to bake real good deserts.

Great book that makes a great cake!
) First, I borrowed this book from my local library but decided that it was one I needed in my cookbook collection. Great tips not only for cake making, but also on types of pans to use, the right ingredients, etc. All cake bakers and cake lovers need this book!
