| Movie Description The government's most wanted amnesiac super-spy returns in this thrilling third installment in the Jason Bourne franchise. THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM picks up where the THE BOURNE SUPREMACY left off, with Bourne once again racing around the globe, desperate to uncover the secrets of his identity. Having just lost his girlfriend and only companion, his search for answers is now fuelled by much more than his own self-preservation. The film kicks off with Bourne tracking down a British journalist (Paddy Considine) who he believes has valuable information about his past. He quickly discovers that the government conspiracy runs far deeper than he realized, and so begins a riveting, action-packed game of cat and mouse with the CIA. Bourne plows through the bad guys like a mini-tornado, and after some breathtaking fight sequences and several nail-biting car chases, he closes in on the truth in a climactic stand-off on the streets (and rooftops) of New York City. Joan Allen and David Strathairn are excellent as two battling CIA directors, and Julia Styles pops up for a small but important turn as Bourne's former government contact. Matt Damon continues to give Bourne the perfect mix of tough guy determination and sad-eyed desperation, and despite his physics-defying fists, he never comes off as the invincible super hero. Rather, the appeal of Bourne remains in his humanness--he feels pain, bloodies his knuckles, and mourns the loss of his lover. It's this emotional and physical vulnerability that keeps you on the edge of the seat, holding your breath for him. Well, that and the totally awesome fight scenes, of course.

The third is no exception! Another action packed movie takes Bourne back to where it all starts. They show his flash backs to where he was accepted into the program as an agent. Hes goes back to take revenge on those who have tried to get rid of the evidence (including him) of the super secret program. Jason Bourne aamazes you with not only his action moves but his quick and creative thinking like a true secret agent! Highly Recommend the entire series! Hope for another one soon! So many times sequels have lead to disappointment but all three of the Bourne movies hit the mark dead on. A perfect balance of drama, action, adventure, mystery, suspense and raw emotion. The character development is flawless and gripping. Not only is the story line compelling and the character of Jason Bourne inspiring but the cinematography is astounding. Report this review There MUST be another episodeReview created: 08/03/08 by: So Matt Damon doesn't want to do another Bourne, and I suppose its contingent on Ludlum writing another episode, but for me its not all tied up is a neat bow and finished. This had lots of action, in fact, maybe a bit too much, and not enough dialogue and left some unanswered questions. These questions need to be answered for us Jason Bourne fans. Its too early for me to say if this is my favorite, I guess it depends on how many times I'm willing to watch it, or parts of it. I will still stop everything and watch the first two whenever I happen on to them on TV. Great story lines and good movies...all three. The Bourne does it again topping it off with the last movie in the trilogy. This movie will not disappoint any action movie lover.
