I have most books on quality watches. For Rolex this is the bible, From start to finish you have wall to wall pictures.
Every case number and watch design. It may be a little over the top if you just want a book of Rolex watches as it lists every case number everytime it mentions a certain type of watch.
The book also tells in deatil the story of Rolex, Most facts are correct, but The author does miss some items in history, Such as what happened to one of the founders A Davis.
Another book does detail this, but as far as Books on Rolex go, This is the best on the market.
It does not cover how to spot fakes very well, but is a great book.
If you are a collector of Rolex watches, this is a must have. The Author Jeff Hess is now writing a book on the Ball watch. If its as good as this, It to will be a great book.

If you are interested in the history and development of this much sought after watch, I feel that this is the best book on the market for under $125. Photos of an extaordinary amount of Rolex watches add to the abundant, easy to read, printed information. Maybe there are some new styles not listed but, so what, they will be in future editions. I think this book is invaluable to the Rolex collector, just starting out or with years of experience. A pleasure to read and to own. Please note that there is presently available a 3rd edition of this book published June 2006.
