No one can do it better than Marta Stewart. Where does this lady get all her knowledge? My husband says thats why shes rich she pays people to research and make these things with her picture on them. But i say oh well. Everything she bakes and cooks comes out perfect. I always say im going to do it like Martha Stewart. When im in the kitchen he refers to me as Martha. Last year for Christmas he got me an aprin that says im Martha's Twin. I love this book! Recipes and pictures are perfect!!

i wanted to select my flowers for my wedding in November. I didn't care if it is in bad condition because it was cheep. it came right away.

Great Ideas - One Bad RecipeReview created: 04/07/09

I bought this because my daughter was getting married. It was great for how to construct a wedding cake - the engineering part. I did use the butter cream frosting recipe which worked great. However, the yellow cake recipe is flawed. I tried it several times, with new ingredients to make sure my baking powder wasn't out of date, but it failed everytime. I ended up with a rubber slab. I believe the amount of baking powder called for is too little. I gave up and used other chocolate and yellow cake recipes for my five tiered cake.

I loooove this book...even though it's 10 years old, all the ideas would still work in a current wedding. If you love Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, you'll really love the book. Lots of ideas and projects.
