This is a great book but its not one that is easily read. Get the recommended book instead because it contains the things that you need to know from Dr. Bates' book PLUS the easy to understand lessons and steps needed to regain your vision naturally. I have myopic astigmatism of 20/100 and can now get it down to 20/60 some times when I practice and I just started the exercises yesterday. It's pretty great

When I was 8 years old, doctors at Phila. Eye hospital told my parents that I would go blind without eye surgery. Our local eye doctor told my parents that I should do the Bates method instead. If it didn't work, I could always have the surgery later. Well it worked, I still to this day (in my 40's) do not wear glasses and do not have eye problems.
Now my 19 year old daughter was having vision problems and she began doing the Bates method. She has so far corrected her eyesight in 6 weeks to the extent that she went back and got half the prescription that she had before. She is still practicing and is glasses free for everything (working, reading, computer) except driving.
