The Backyardigans - Cave Party (VHS, 2006)

I was getting this VHS for my daughter because she is expecting her first child in about 10 weeks. A few years back, I bought a portable car VHS player and it has never been open so I gave it to her so that her little kiddo can have it to watch while she is trying to drive. Kid can be distracting while you are driving so I decided to find a way to distract the baby so that their outings can be less stressful(my daughter is a new driver also). We both like the Backyardigaans because they are so entertaining. I am hoping that our little bundle will like them also. We shall see.

Dancing, Singing, engaging...it's a safe and sweet story line and loveable characters. We recommend all of the Backyardigan videos...they teach wonderful life lessons with songs the kids can sing.

My son is really into the cartoons right now and he loved this one. Teaches while it entertains! :) Item was sent brand new and worked great! Has 2 shows on the VHS. I Highly recommend this show to other parents

Racing day is my daughters favorite Backyardigans episode ever. When they jump the hurdles she belly laughs SO hard. Highyl recommended.

My Baby loves this video and although videos are out dated, grandma feels alot more comfortable using the VCR rather than the DVD. So VHS was perfect for the days baby visits grandma. Like all little ones, she watches it again and again.I love the music and their dancing. It makes my baby get up and want to dance, clap and jump. I recommend it 100%

It is very educational and my daughter loves the show. So thought id try the movie and boy was it a hit. I am very satisfied with it. Money well worth spent.

its so hard to find vhs any more im glad i found it my son plays it over and over great price and easy to find

I bought this VHS for my granddaughter who absoutely LOVES The Backyardigans. The price of the video was a real bargain. She was so happy when she opened the present on Christmas.

My grandson just loves the Basckyardigans and can how watch 24/7, these are the kind of programs that 2 year olds should be watching

Bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it watches it over and over. She has shared it with her day care class and they also loved it.

I am a nanny for a two year old and I honestly think I love this show just as much as she does. This is an excellent film. Even if it said it in the item description I didn't realize that there are actually two episodes on this vhs. Cave Party, and an episode about a race, both are extremely cute.

My 2 years old girl love the backyardigans, we have only the "polka palace party" and this one, she just love the "cave party" so much, it has only 2 episodes but you know, they are long and fun...very good buy...get it.

our whole family gets into the backyardigans.. it is just so family oriented.. they are cute and lovable characters...my son loves pablo and specifically always asks, can we watch pablo??? i am glad he picked a show to like that is not violent and teaches good lessons and has cool songs he learns and dances with.... what more could a mother want?!

I bought the Backyardigans Cave Party VHS. It is hard to find VHS tapes today instead of DVDs and I have found 3 so far on ebay. These are new tapes at unbelievable prices and highly recommended.

There are just two things that can calm my emotional 1 year old daughter, Ms spiders sunnypatch friends and the Backyardigans. Backyardigans are 5 adorable and colorful friends who play make believe in their backyard. These 5 friends love to sing and dance which is what grabs my daughters attention. My daughter has some moderate developmental problems and the backyardigans have actually been wonderful therapy for her teaching her words where speech therapy and intervention have thus far failed. I would highly advise anyone with a toddler to expose them to these lovable critters. Even my 7 year old enjoys them and we often all sing along to the songs!

This was a great buy that my twins love. I bought the tape new and it has provided lots of entertainment for them. The Backyardigans are the best! The only down side is that you get more episodes on the DVD as opposed to this VHS. However, considering how cheap it was and the fact that VHS tapes are much harder for toddlers to destroy than DVDs, I feel like I got a great deal.

This is a great video. The animation absolutely delights my little one. This is a great item! There is a lot of singing involved. I find that it helps my child to try to verbalize words. He is barely learning to talk and the sound of the character voices really encourages him. The melodies they sing are quite upbeat and kid friendly. One very entertaining video. You can tell a lot of time was spent in the development of this video.

My 3 yr old loves nearly all the Backyardigans movies. Personaly, I hate getting those songs stuck in my head. Very nice to be able to toss the DVD in the player while I'm making dinner and he's kept busy and (most importantly!) quiet.
