The Backyardigans - Cave Party (2006, VHS)

My 2 years old girl love the backyardigans, we have only the "polka palace party" and this one, she just love the "cave party" so much, it has only 2 episodes but you know, they are long and fun...very good buy...get it.

our whole family gets into the backyardigans.. it is just so family oriented.. they are cute and lovable characters...my son loves pablo and specifically always asks, can we watch pablo??? i am glad he picked a show to like that is not violent and teaches good lessons and has cool songs he learns and dances with.... what more could a mother want?!

I bought the Backyardigans Cave Party VHS. It is hard to find VHS tapes today instead of DVDs and I have found 3 so far on ebay. These are new tapes at unbelievable prices and highly recommended.

There are just two things that can calm my emotional 1 year old daughter, Ms spiders sunnypatch friends and the Backyardigans. Backyardigans are 5 adorable and colorful friends who play make believe in their backyard. These 5 friends love to sing and dance which is what grabs my daughters attention. My daughter has some moderate developmental problems and the backyardigans have actually been wonderful therapy for her teaching her words where speech therapy and intervention have thus far failed. I would highly advise anyone with a toddler to expose them to these lovable critters. Even my 7 year old enjoys them and we often all sing along to the songs!

This was a great buy that my twins love. I bought the tape new and it has provided lots of entertainment for them. The Backyardigans are the best! The only down side is that you get more episodes on the DVD as opposed to this VHS. However, considering how cheap it was and the fact that VHS tapes are much harder for toddlers to destroy than DVDs, I feel like I got a great deal.

This is a great video. The animation absolutely delights my little one. This is a great item! There is a lot of singing involved. I find that it helps my child to try to verbalize words. He is barely learning to talk and the sound of the character voices really encourages him. The melodies they sing are quite upbeat and kid friendly. One very entertaining video. You can tell a lot of time was spent in the development of this video.

My 3 yr old loves nearly all the Backyardigans movies. Personaly, I hate getting those songs stuck in my head. Very nice to be able to toss the DVD in the player while I'm making dinner and he's kept busy and (most importantly!) quiet.
