Reviews  always a fave in our house...Review created: 08/13/08 by:  our whole family gets into the backyardigans.. it is just so family oriented.. they are cute and lovable characters...my son loves pablo and specifically always asks, can we watch pablo??? i am glad he picked a show to like that is not violent and teaches good lessons and has cool songs he learns and dances with.... what more could a mother want?! It is hard to find VHS tapes today instead of DVDs and I have found 3 so far on ebay. These are new tapes at unbelievable prices and highly recommended. Report this review The Backyardigans are the best for babies and toddlers!Review created: 06/27/08 by: There are just two things that can calm my emotional 1 year old daughter, Ms spiders sunnypatch friends and the Backyardigans. Backyardigans are 5 adorable and colorful friends who play make believe in their backyard. These 5 friends love to sing and dance which is what grabs my daughters attention. My daughter has some moderate developmental problems and the backyardigans have actually been wonderful therapy for her teaching her words where speech therapy and intervention have thus far failed. I would highly advise anyone with a toddler to expose them to these lovable critters. Even my 7 year old enjoys them and we often all sing along to the songs! I bought the tape new and it has provided lots of entertainment for them. The Backyardigans are the best! The only down side is that you get more episodes on the DVD as opposed to this VHS. However, considering how cheap it was and the fact that VHS tapes are much harder for toddlers to destroy than DVDs, I feel like I got a great deal.
