Great for first time parents

I have found this book to be very helpful. I am a single first time mother who is working and going to college full time. Instead of reading a chapter about burping or hiccups this book tells you directly and to the point in as few words as possible. I have found it very useful and when she goes to the sitter I just drop the book in the bag. It is good reference for new parents or second time parents. I would assume fathers would really like it. It has a little humor in it as well. Not boring.

I bought it because my friend is having her first baby, and I just gave birth to my first. The book was cute, because people say "kids don't come with an owners manual". Well, I thought she could have the first. =)

I love this book. Someone purchased a copy for me as a baby gift several years ago and I have in turn purchased a copy for someone else. It makes a great gift. It is a fun read but so much more. The tips in the book are very smart and so simple. Consider giving this book to any first time parent.
