The Awakening - Etheridge, Melissa (CD)

I lover everything about melissa etheridge listen to her all the time. for some reason she made it easyer comeing out of the closet when I told my family I was lesbian . and it takes alot for a singer to come out ive been out since I was 14 and im 23 now this is my girlfriend name but still love her sooooo much just wish someday I can meet her and go to her concert. she is for sure my number one singer and probably will always remain that way.

Melissa some known songs along with some songs she wrote will healing from cancer. The songs, of course, come from the heart and hit the soul. Certainly a goody for a newby to Melissa's strenght in voice and life.

I bought the CD because I buy all of Melissa's music. As usual, she did not disappoint. The words and music were thought provoking and sometimes fun. Philip Sayce did a spectacular job on the guitar and in a few songs he just blows you away. Like all of Melissa's music, the music is not only something to listen to, but it becomes like an old friend. One you will visit often.

I love Melissa Etheridge! I have grown up on her, know her story & think she is very cool. This is one of her very best albums (cd). It's not like an, "I'm coming out" c,d but more like an "I know who I finally am inside & out, with no regrets" album (cd)).
I bought tickets for June 25 (in MD), for my Husband & I to go see her in concert & I cant wait!!!!!!!
Absolutely "AWAKENING," awesome cd. Buy it! You will not regret it!

I love Melissa's music so I'm a bit biased but this album is really good. However, I do prefer her earlier work.
