The American Pageant:A History of the Republic by David M. Kennedy (2006, Paperback, Student Edition)

I bought this book because I needed it for my History class. I am a starving student just barely scraping by and buying here was going to save me about $25 dollars. I was very excited to see it here for so cheap!! Well, I purchased it before the start of my class, and two weeks into class still hadn't received my book. Now, I am an avid eBay user and always look at feedback ratings, however, being somewhat new to half.com, it isn't as noticeable. By that I mean, when you look at an item on eBay, The feedback is automatically displayed, whereas here, all you see is a name, a number next to the name (for items sold). It didn't even cross my mind until over one month after not receiving my item. I checked back and emailed the seller twice within the one month period, and finally got to looking at his rating. He had a 25% positive rating!!! I read the feedback, 4 were negative and one was marked positive and had negative comments. This was a big mistake on my part.

The Book was in excellent condition and was as described. I would reccomedn this seller to anyone.i did not have to wail long for the book to arrive and the seller had even put a book jacket on it to ensure it remained n pristine condition.

I am very happy with the seller. I received my products in an timely manner as a matter of fact I actually got my items 2 days early. I wish I could do all of my education book buying business with people of this kind professional, fast, and business oriented. Thanks all keep up your reputation.

The book was required for a class, and it was cheaper than at the store. so this was a relatively good value.

The price made it very appealing. I paid just as much for this book and another one as I would have for one book at the bookstore.

I bought this item for my daughter since she has the textbook at school but can not mark it. Since buying this book with study guide things have gotten easier for my daughter at school and gives her the ability to mark and highlight her own book that is identical to the textbook.

many pages of the book were ripped and torn and higlighted and i do not think i payed a right price for it i would not reccomend buyers to buy from this eller i received my book very late too. not very happy with this seller

I liked the fact I received my book in good timing and the price was reasonable-about $35 or so...My big complaint though is that this book had no description of any damage to it. When I received it the bottom portion of the book was tearing away page by page...The whole bottom binding is coming apart. Now while turning pages I have to make sure a page doesn't fall out completely(which one already has). If there are imperfections to the books-especially these-please state them! It is a real pain to deal with split bindings.
