The 99= Only Stores Cookbook by Christiane Jory (2008, Paperback)

I wanted to get the book, but didn't want to pay the price somewhere else, so that is why I bought it here.

I bought the book because I was familiar with the store & thought the recipes would be good. I like the overall ease of finding the ingredients, & especially the clear directions. I also appreciate the helpful hint given with each recipe. My only request for them would have been to have a Nutri-tion Facts section for each recipe that showed the serving size, calories, etc.
But, overall, I think the cookbook was great, with a wide variety of recipes.

Excellent book for those on a tight budget who happen to have one of these stores nearby. The recipes are surprisingly good for such a low price to make. I love that the book includes approximate costs and a section devoted to measurement conversions and ingredient substitutions. Another plus is that most of the recipes are very easy to make, making the book suitable for almost any age as well as any budget.
