The 10th Kingdom (DVD, 2002, Sensormatic)

I waited a week and then e-mailed the seller asking for shipping and tracking information.
The reply was that the item was never shipped and I would get a refund. I have not seen the item or the refund yet

I have written the seller of this item to say that I have yet to recieve the item but have not recieved any response. I have already paid for the item and the money has been processed from my account but I still have yet to recieve the item. I'm really frustrated with this situation.

It was slow in starting (first 15 minutes) but such a cute movie. It a 3 discs and approx 8 hours to watch the whole thing. I think it was great how it weaved all the fairy tales into the story and characters --- great writing and special effects. I loved the wolf.

This mini series was just delightful. I was unable to find it at any local stores but there it was on Ebay. It arrived timely and brand new, thanks Ebay.

I saw this movie when it was aired on tv and loved it.
If you are a fairy tale, fantasy world lover than this is the movie to see. This movie gives you the chance to actually see what Cinderella looked like a few hundred years old and what happen to snow white from another perspective. It changes the life of a young woman still living at home with her father after the mother leaves them behind.
There are twist and turns that you just don't see coming. Again this is for the fantasy, fairy tale lover.

It took alot longer than expected. It was for a birthday present three weeks after I purchased it and did not recieve it until two weeks after the birthday.

This was originally a mini-series on NBC. It the version I watched it was
10 hours long. This set is an awesome gift for any girls or anyone who loves
fairytales. It's about a girl named Virgina and her father Tony. They unknowingly travel through a mirror into the land of the nine kingdoms. It gets better as it goes on. They meet other interesting characters and they
even have Dianne Wiest as the successor of the original Wicked Witch. It's
got action,adventure,comedy, and a little bit of romance. It's long but
well worth it and the cast and storyline are superior. What more could you
ask for?

I recommend this movie to the kid at heart! Awesome fantasy movie with some great actors! I bought it because I had originally purchased it through nbc.com when it was out on VHS years ago when the mini series was over...now that technology has changed, I wanted to watch it on DVD with better picture clarity!!

I like that I was able to find this movie on ebay and that it was brand new. I bought this movie for a close friend of mine who mentioned it in the spring of 2007 and that she would love to find it on DVD. So for Christmas I got to looking and what do you know found it on EBAY. When she opened that present and the look on her face that said it all.

I purchased this DVD set on a whim about two years ago and since then i have fallen in love with it. The mini series starts out following a young girl Virgina as she struggles through her life which she only dreams of escapeing from. Little does she know she will soon get the chance of a life time by traveling to the 9 kingdoms where along her way so defeats trolls, battles a wicked stepmother and finds unforgetable friends. This is a great story and is child friendly which also lets it double as a great family movie. This comes highly recommended to any Narnia, Potter or Lord of the Rings Fan's Enjoy!!!!

I bought it for my sister for a Christmas present - She's wanted it ever since it came out! I couldn't find it in stores, but found it right away online. It was inexpensive and a great purchase. The movie never gets old, and is something the whole family can enjoy.

With a stellar cast and peppered with some snappy/humorous writing, the 10th Kingdom has a lot of good things going for it. I was enthralled by the story from the very first scene, although a good friend said the movie did not hold his attention and he specifically questioned the choice of actors for certain roles. I guess he's not a John Larroquette fan.
Granted not every scene is a blockbuster, and movies like The Princess Bride are more succinct, still the 10th Kingdom has a charm of its own. If only the viewer would give it a chance to work its magic. There is much to pick apart, but if you can get by that, there are many reasons to give this movie a chance.

Saw the movie on TV- Have it on VHS- wanted to get it on DVD-All of the fairy tale stories I grew up with made in to a moderen movie- Shows how sometimes happy ever after goes off track but can be put back on track- I love how Virgina saves her mother from being condemd to evil right before death.

I love this movie and so does my family. I had bought this movie a few years ago and then was stepped on and I could not watch the whole movie so I had been looking for it everywhere found it on ebay and had to have it and it was for a great price. Thank you

The 10th Kingdom is a wonderful movie that, despite it's 7 hour length, keeps you drawn to your seat and wanting more. The characters are easy to get drawn to - I've yet to meet a woman who's not a fan of Wolf. I'm a very big fan of the book and movie and I can't even begin to say how many times I have watched this movie now. And there's not a soul I've met so far that has not liked it! Trust me, if you love fantasy, fairytales, and being taken from reality for a while - this movie is THE movie to watch.

The only drawback a few people have mentioned is the length of the movie, but I beg for more! A definate 5 out of 5. I'd rate even higher if I could. ;)

Did you ever wish that there would be movie with all your favorite fairy tales in on place? This movie is for you. I simply loved this movie when I saw it on TV, so i bought it, and have watched it 100 times already, never gets old, you get "sucked" in the movie how great it is. Enjoyed it with all the family. However this is not a movie for the very young. 8yrs+
But It is a GOT TO HAVE MOVIE.

I love this movie/mini series. I'm a big fan of fairy tales and comedy as well, and I LOVE how this movie was based on fairy tales and HILARIOUS!! The characters are great, and I can actually sit and watch the whole thing in one sitting. It's just all around fun!!

This is one of the best fairy tales I have ever seen. Virginia feels lost and alone in her life, stuck taking care of her downtroden father. When she stumbles upon a mystical mirror that whisks them away into a magical kingdom. Virginia and her father find themselves lost in a fairy tale land with their new found companions. Wolf, an animalistic ex-con and Prince a former royal human, golden retriever. Endlessly searching for the mysterious mirror that will send them back home. Mercylessly hunted by an evil Queen and her henchmen. Virginia slowly unravels the secrets about her past and learns to love, trust and believe in herself again! She finds, and finally believes in a happy ever after!!! I recommend this to anyone who ever watched and enjoyed any childhood story ever told.

The item that I purchased was very generously priced, the shipping was fair as well. The item was shipped the next day after payment was sent. EXCELLENT!!

I feel duped, the price i won the bid at was just under 7 Euros and then I got billed for 48 euros.

I remember watching this movie as a child, and was so happy when i rediscovered it, I wish that they would make another one

I was a freshman in highschoolwhen this special came on and loved it so much i bought the vhs. now i wore out my VHS tape! Even though it's as long as it is, you don't feel like it is at all! Every fairy tail and childhood story you can think of was pulled into one and it sucks you in. I'm so far from a pretend movie type of person you'd laugh at the fact that as into this movie as I am. by far one of the best movies ever produced. made me look at ny in a whole new light. Right after this special came merlin which i could only get half way through... this movie had me hooked the whole time!
