Thank God It's Friday (DVD, 2006)

This movie cult and one of the symbols that have left a sign in the memories of all those that have lived those years, for me beautifulr the musical period in absolute, Summer Woman and one of the best and beautiful singers in absolute a icona of those years, wants of music, wants to dance without barriers and social distinctions that unfortunately ours is characterizing were. I love the disc I love music I love this film.

I love the Disco era and this movie brought back alot of memories of that era.
It's a cheesy disco movie but I still love it. I remember it when it first came out. I wish Donna Summer could have sang in it more though.

This is a great disco movie featuring Donna Summer and one of the great bands of the 70's and 80's Young stars are plentiful in this movie and it is fun for all. It has a few strong scenes but is a great movie to watch.

I still have the album of this music and although it was not as popular at the time as the other disco film (don't want to mention it - but you know) I personally think Thank God its Friday has better music. A must for all disco divas and men alike. Watch, sing, laugh and dance. Also for those old enough remember the clothes we all used to wear. Did we really go out looking like that!!

This was a movie that I thought I remembered as bein a lot better. Don't waste your time. It was poor acting, smutty undertones. I thought I rememered it being funnier.

that movie was one of my favorite movies back in the 70's and is a great movie i myself loved watching it iv'e watchd about 4 times since i got it im very happy with it. donna summers was or still is my idol singer.

I bought this because Donna Summer performs in it and it was the acting debut of singer/songwriter Teri Nunn of the band Berlin. Other than those two featuresm this movie held no interest for me, and it was a complete disappointment. The acting is pretty bad, although, this was Jeff Goldblum'
s acting debut, too, and he wasn't that bad. He still looks the same today, unreal. Not worth owning, in my opinion, unless you love one of the actors a whole lot.

Finally a dvd of the movie...I was hoping for some behind the scenes,extra features,ect...But it's a good copy of the movie,and i'm glad to have it in my collection

I paid for this movie more than a month ago & I never get it, I sent several email to the seller (White Elephant), telling then that the address they said they sent it to (16808 Sarah's place, Clermont, Fl) wasn't right,I let them know that I moved from that place more than 4 years ago, by the way, I don't know how they get that address, anyway, I tell them that my current address by the time that I purchased this movie was 601 Symphony place, Davenport, Fl 33896 & I moved 3 weeks ago to 9 Palm ct, Davenport, Fl 33837, the point is that I never get the movie or my money back, by the way, I still want the movie, if there is anything that you need from me, let me know, Thank a lot for anything that you can do to resolve this situation.

The DVD that I purchased from this seller, was everything that they said it was. It was fairly priced, promptly shipped and professionally packaged. I received it before I knew it. I would not hesitate buying from this seller in the future.

This movie is a must for all disco fans. Has awesome music and lots of energy. Funny and a sign of the 70's. Really brings back memories and wishes that discos were still around. Gotta buy this movie if you love disco!

I like movies from the 70s, it's when I was born. It's fun to look at the social and fashion scene back then.

This is a great way to relive the 1970s disco era (the good and the bad). But you can't go wrong with a movie that begins and ends with a young Donna Summer and features the Commodores (check out Lionel Ritchie) singing at the disco. Jeff Goldblum plays his ever-suave role, and that young gal whose face looked so familiar to me turned out to be a very young Debra Winger! It's a real "camp" movie and was lots of fun to watch. (I bought it as a gift but couldn't help but watch it before sending it to my friend who is eternally in love with all things Donna Summer.)

What can i say about the 70's that you don't know about.
Unless your a kid , well the music is great{if you dig that type of music} the acting not so good but it was funny and it is a classic.
You will enjoy this film if you like the 70's & disco music not to mention some funny bit's like the fat guy who is a tough guy...and when someone bumps into him and says "I'm sorry." His answer is "YOU BET YOUR SWEET ASS YOUR SORRY!"
Funny as hell, enjoy the film.

I really liked this movie from the first time i saw it, maybe because Donna Summer is in it, otherwise the characters are all crazy, i want born during the Disco days, but from what i hear, it's preyy dead-on to the life and the times of the decade.

The DVD one I had been looking for and it arrived unbelievably fast. I would recommend this seller to anyone.

I remembered the movie since I was young and wanted to see it again. but I couldn't find it at the blockbuster. so I bought it on ebay. It wasn't as good as I remembered.

I bought the DVD for my sister, she loved it!! It brought back fond memories for her when she was younger. I loved it too because I love Donna Summer!!

It is no Saturday Night Fever by any means, but it is a fun little movie during the great days of disco. Don't watch it expecting great plot, story, or even acting. If you enjoyed the "ME" generation then you may like it. Music isn't bad, not as good as S.N.F. again though.
It was made by Neil Bogart of Casablanca records who had many disco artists to its label like Donna Summer, so it was a natural fit to do a movie about an L.A. disco in 1977.
