Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Graphic Calculator

I bought 2 of these actually, the first cause i needed a calculator, the second because my first one got stolen. That should say two things, one that it is good enough to be stolen, and two that it is good enough for me to buy a second one.

For the money, this calculator is a great deal. It has plenty of memory, great screen clarity, great battery life, and the controls are fairly easy to get used to.

There are plenty of games you can find to add to the calculator, also its data cable is a simple mini-usb cable so if it doesn't come with one, or you loose it, its very easy to replace.

This calculator has almost 8 times the memory that the TI-83 has which means you can store more games, apps, and files on this calculator then the previous TI-83.
The TI-84 plus has great screen clarity, its very easy to read during low light situations and outdoor light situations.

Texas Instruments is the most popular brand of graphing calculators currently out there which means that you can transfer files between pers easily, and you can figure out problems easier than if you had a no name brand.

All in all, the TI-84 is a brilliant addition to the Texas Instuments Graphing Calculator family, and a worthwhile tool to anybody in school or work.

If you have used Texas Instruments scientific calculators, their graphing calculator is an easy transition. This calculator is user friendly and is features make it an excellent choice for higher level math courses, e.g. Math Analysis, all Calculus courses (AP & regular), Statistics, Trigonometry, etc. It is well worth the price, because it can be used for numerous course. Additionally, by having this calculator, an instructor can assign problems using a computer.

I was disappointed that the calculator was well used and had an engraved name on it. No mention of this in the description. The price paid was for a better conditioned calculator. I would have spent the $20.00 more and bought me a brand new one with batteries included! However, it does work fine.

I'm going to try to fit this into a couple of sentences. This calculator is the best. You won't need any other after you buy this calculator. It has everything you need. From the basics to graphing. It also has games you can download from the computer and other apps like toss a coin to test probability.

I purchased the item for my daughter's friend since I had already bought one for my daughter who mentioned her friend about it.I am happy that the auction ended in good manner and the seller sent it immediately to my daughter who was in UCSB for summer school at that time.
It is absolutely very handy and usefull to use ebay for such purchases as there is no missing information about the items and there are many trusthworthy seller if one checks their background.

I needed the calculator for school. It serves the purpose for Algebra classes and even more advanced classes.

This Graphic Calculator is perfect for the High School Student in those advanced math classes. This one will travel on to college and help with the required work. If you are wanting to get a calculator that will give all the functions and last through numerous classes, this is the one.

Bought for my 7th grade daughter. Easy to use works great. It's pricey but with everything it can do I think it was worth it.

My grandson's technical high school requires a graphing calculator. They recommended three TI models. I opted for the TI-84 Plus because it had the most features. I'm pretty hopeful that this will be the only calculator he'll need until after he graduates.

I have no opinion about this calculator, son needed it for school and I wasn't about to buy new, not in this day and age of eBay. After he is finished with it, I'm sure I'll put it up for auction so the next student can have an affordable calculator for school. I did play with it some, it seems to be a real nice product.

The calculator was recently purchased for one of my daughters for advanced placement classes in geometry and a/p physics. My oldest daughter had a TI 83 and by her suggestion we bought this unit for her younger sisters upcoming work. The presentation by the seller was nice clear and to the point. Upon recieving the calculator the older sister showed the intended sister how to operate it. They put it through the paces and now daughter number two is more familiarized with the proper operation. The main reason for purchasing this item was so my daughter would have her own instead of using one of the schools. That way she won't have to worry about who has used it or she won't have to wait to use it. The calculator has plenty of features and options along with all of the programs that the schools a/p teachers want in a calculator.

I have had to challenge this seller to get my money back. This calculator was for my daughter to use in high school and I had purchased one last year for my son on EBAY. His was great and just as described. This one had no battery back and was shipped in duct tape. That was the buyers comment on how to make the calculator work was to use duct tape. Pay Pal is having me ship it back to him, but I still don't like that I have to pay the shipping cost when it was a misleading item.

We needed a replacement calculator for one my daughter lost from school. We tested the calculator and it worked fine. It also looked fine and was accepted by her school as a replacement.

IT WAS MANDATORY TO GET A GRAPHING CALCULATOR AND THE TEACHER PUT SPECIFIC ONES, THIS WAS ONE OF THEM. I CHECK THE SPECS AND COMPARED WITH THE OTHER KINDS SHE WANTED. THIS IS THE ONE THAT LOOKED THE BEST. TURNS OUT IT GREAT PRODUCT WITH MANY FEATURE, VERY CONVENIENT FOR A COLLEGE STUDENT.

The TI-84 is pretty much just like the last one (TI-83). Same functions, just different look. I decided to buy it because my stats instructor said we needed it, but I could have just used the one I have.

I am a math teacher. The TI-84 plus graphic calculator is a must in high school math. I picked the pink one because it is easy to find with a classroom full of students who are using yellow or black calculators.

Remember when buying a calculator online. YELLOW calculators are sold to educational institutes only. If you see one being sold on ebay, it was probably stolen from a school.

Calculator came in time as promised. Shipping cost somewhat pricy. The calculator itself was in good condition, I can see it was used by child. Cover for it was somewhat dirty, I cleaned it off, inside cover, underneath was the name of who ever had it last. Batteries did not work, changed them also. This was a gift for my granddaughter, so I did Not have the time to communicate with seller about discrepancies. Kind of in a hurry to send it off to her. I don't think I'll buy another "used" product from this seller again. Sorry.

Calculator is a little banged up, but I did get a great price for one of the more expensive pieces of hardware out there.

accepted me when i told him, that i bought it by mistake. he was completly cooprative.i was shopping around to see calculators prices. my friend by mistake pressed on buy and then this guy was cooprative in solving the problem.

About a month ago, I purchased a TI-84 Plus calculator. The buttons are placed better than the 83's. It is very comfortable and easy to use. I needed an updated personal calculator that is like what my high school math students will have this fall. I will be able to help the students with questions now whether I'm in class or at home. Great Buy!

This calculator was everything we expected and more. The teacher at my grandsons school said that this is just what he needs for his math and science classes.

I needed to buy a graphing calculator for college. I decided to go with the TI-84 instead of the 83 because of the extended features. The 83 is good but I might as well buy one to last me through calculus. I bought the 84 in pink and I love it! Its super cute and I get lots of compliments. I would recommend this calculator to everyone who is in Algebra or Calculus. This calculator has tons of features I will probably never use but I guess its better to have and not need.
