Plenty of functions for mid-level finance courses. Great for entering multiple cash flows of different values. Easy to use with a few pointers to get you started.
Choose the Pro version if you want more functions such as MIRR to avoid doing them by hand or to check your work.

I was looking for a TI-83 when I bought the BA-II Plus. The TI-83 was for my grandson, the BA-II is for myself. I really like the calculator. It is well worth the money I paid for it. It was in good cosmetic condition and functions perfectly. It performs financial calculations such as interest accrual,amortization,and using given factors can calculate monthly payments, apr, total of payments, etc. This calculator can be a very helpful tool, and at a fraction of the price it would cost at a retail store. I am very pleased with this transaction, especially since everything went so smoothly. I paid with PayPal, a very secure and fast way of transacting business, and look forward to many more such transactions.

I bought the finance calculator a few weeks ago for my intermediate finance class. The calculator is great! It allows me to do all the finance calculations I need to do. It's easy to use. I think Texas Instruments products are some of the top of the line ones as far as calculators go. I am very impressed with the quality of my calculator and all its functions. I would recommend this calculator for anyone taking finance classes or doing financial calculations.

I got this calculator for my Financial Management class. It's a great little calculator and I would recommend it to anyone who has to take a Finance class or compute present or future values of bonds, etc.

This calculator has most of the capabilities for a financial person and it is approved for professional exams, CFA. It has a nice hard cover to protect it as with most TI calcultors, except for TI BAII Plus Professional.
HOWEVER, please do not expect it to be a easy to change the battery. You will be assured that your calculator will get ding when it comes time to change your battery.
Also, please don't expect to view the values you have entered for your variables all at once....like how you can see a bunch of values on a regular TI-83/84/89 display, because you just can't on a one line display with this calculator! And everytime you need to do a fresh calculation, it is a pain to have to hit "2nd" + "clear work" before starting because it is set up just the way it is. Aside from being the "approved" calculator you can bring to the exam, it is another piece of junk set to collect dust at the end of the day.
Stick with your regular TI 83/84/89 for all your non-exam use because the Financial Application has all there is you need.

- robust, I can put it in a fully loaded bag without worrying about my calculator button damaged because of the hardcover.

need to be improved :
- functionalities can be added just like the professional version, I would like to buy the professional version if it had the hardcover just like the BA-II Plus
- the button is not as good as my keyboard. Sometimes I skip a number because I did not press the button hard enough.

I needed a calculator for a finance class, so I discovered this seller had the type of calculator i needed. The price was a a few dollars cheaper than comparable items. The calculator was purportedly in fine condition, but the screen does not show full numbers, and the uselessness of the item is very obvious to anyone using it; i have no idea what this seller was thinking

TI has been doing the financial calculator the same way for decades (it seems). This is a solid calculator that will get you through most Finance classes.
Since it is a TI, you have to get used to the new navigation which is very different from most other calculators

If you're in busines major or an accountant or anything having to do with business, you need to have this calculator. Unlike other TI, this BA-II is specifically made for business, there are many convinient functions that will help you in business world that others don't offer. I bought this calculator because it's required in my accounting and finance classes. My professors told us we would need this calculator as long as we are in business.

I bought it used from someone else with no manual and I still like it. All you have to do is look the manual up online and it tells you what you need to know. I'm still learning how to use all the features but once you get them down its easy to use.

I bought it because I replaced my old one. It works fine. This is eally too much, but if you like I can type the alhabet and give you 100 characters.

I bought this calculator for the CFA Exam; it is not easy to use; make sure you get the manual... after becoming proficient, it is an average financial calculator.
