The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (DVD, 2003, Special Edition; New Digital Superscan)

I love scary movies, that's why I bought it. It is one of my all time favorites. Needed it for my collection of scary movies.

Just like when we watched it years ago, very scary. We loved it all over again. We bought it because it was a long time since we've seen it.

This is the original, the scariest, the creepiest color horror movie ever made! I remember waiting in delicious anticipation for my mother to allow me to see this movie, and it scared the bejeezus out of me. I still have nightmares.
The remake is a mere attempt at recreating the terror felt with the original. Scariest scene-when the camera pans around the house. Best cult classic scene- "Git 'er Granpaw!". And remember, don't pick up any hitchhikers.
(As an aside, I found House of 10,000 Corpses by Rob Zombie to be more similar to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre than the Texas remake was to the original.)

I bought this dvd because I like the original the best (who doesn't)!
I have seen the newer made one, and I much prefer this one, yes the older and original one is the best!

it was a great buy for me, the movie was in great shape, and i would deffinitly buy from him again. i would tell others too buy from him. his merchandise is excellent.

This is a good movie to watch if you like scary movies.I liked the girl that came out,shes a good actress.I don't like any movies where they fall and hurt their leg or foot,and they drag their foot while running.I find that boring.But other than that,the movie was good.I bought the movie because,I saw it in the early eighties and when the new one came out I wanted to compare them.I waited for the movie to come out on cable but it never did.So I got on ebay and found it right away.Its amazing what you can find on ebay.

If you like to watch scary movies then this is a must see!!

love this classic horror movie i dislike nothing about it i bought it because i love classic horror movies must have for horror movie fans best to have the whole collection

Forget the remake, this is the real deal. This is one film that no horror fan should be without. It has a reputation of being very gory, but although it is very violent and distrubing, there isn't a lot of blood. Any horror fan must see this film and it has been expertly remastered for this DVD.

this is the best movie ever my in my opinion and will go down in history and a movie you have to love with no dislikes about it i decided to by it because it was a reasonable price.

I bought the movie for my husband who bet me that I could not find this old movie on ebay. He had not seen the movie and my sister and myself were talking about how scary it was and he wanted to see it. We looked around the stores and could not find it, so came the bet.

I don't know, I think this movie is brilliant. It's that real people doing horrible things that makes it terrifying. I think it's based on a real person (Ed Gein?). Also see "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer". And Paradise Lost, a documentary.

This movie is great for its time. If you have not seen it try to see it before you watch the new version. Because this one is like you recorded it yourself. It is one that I can watch again and again. It makes you realize that you don't go into a strangers house uninvited.
