Tetris 2 (Nintendo, 1993)

I've been playing Tetris 2 for about 6 years now. I only picked it up at a used video game store real cheap and wondered how it was to play on my old, original Nintendo Entertainment System. Well, I played it EVERY night before sleep and did fairly well with it I guess for 6 years. Not too many people have played this game, since the original Tetris gained fame and stole the stage from Tetris 2 when it came out. But I was different. I liked Tetris 2. I wasn't big on the original Tetris. And it ends up, I wore my only copy of Tetris 2 out, so I had to look for someone on eBay that was selling it. If you're curious, it's nothing like the original Tetris except for the blocks...in shape alone. Because in Tetris 2, the blocks you've come accustomed to in Tetris come apart in Tetris 2. And the object is to target the flashing blocks at the bottom by landing 2 more of the same color on each of the flashers. After completing each level, more blocks are added to try to throw your game off. I have a high score in the upper 700,000's which I think is good, but not sure because I've not found anything on the web regarding players of this game. I LOVE it!
