Industry Reviews Gr 2-3 Shark enthusiasts will enjoy these three dramatic accounts of true-life encounters. All of the victims lived to tell the tale, although not without some blood spilled (clearly shown in the colorful illustrations). Interspersed between the stories are tidbits of information to whet the appetite for further reading. Pair this supplemental title with Joanna Cole's Hungry, Hungry, Sharks (Random, 1986) or Gail Gibbons's Sharks (Holiday, 1992), both of which have more details about different kinds of sharks and how they live.
