Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (DVD, 2003, Pan & Scan 2-Disc Set)

Wow. What a great movie.
Wow. What a way to end the genre that changed movies, special effects, etc.
Wow. Arnold Schwarzenegger still whoops butt at 60.
And Wow. Kristanna Loken is simply awesome!

I went into this movie with the highest of expectations - counting each day with another Arnold-loving buddy and we saw it at the 10:00am showing on July 4th. Awesome. It exceeded all expectations. Great action scenes - phenomenal car chase and wreckage right up front. Excellent use of Arnold's corny one-liners. And Arnold even pokes fun at himself. The cast is phenomenal and - in all honesty - this is hands down my favorite Terminator of the trilogy!

This science fiction film is very interesting to watch. The essential reason I purchased this film is because I wanted to watch the interesting movie effects such as high performance graphics with robots and an interesting plot line. The plot line in this movie would keep the viewer wondering what would happen next. When a viewer watches this dvd, it feels like you are in the movie. The dvd was much better than a regular vhs tape because the graphics were high digital quality and stereo surround sound. The dvd had excellent resolution and the picture was adjusted to the proper settings. I would strongly recommend this movie to anyone who has an interest in science fiction films.

There are alot of mixed reviews about this movie, probably due to the fact that it didn't have the feel of the other two terminators prequels. T3 was more light hearted, and was more into the politics of the world of the movie. However, even though I loved the prequels, this one was a fresh new feel to the story, and it worked just fine for me.

As for the fight scenes, its sort of in the middle of the three movies, where it was better than T1, but not as good as T2. The T1000 in my mind is the ultimate terminator, and this new one didn't seem as fearing as the T1000. However, Arnold was just as good years later, and still plays a great terminator. 4 out of 5.

Terminator 3 was a lot of fun. It had all the special effect that Terminator fans love, plus Arnold took the opportunity to have some fun at his own expense in this. The story is good, the characters fit will and the Female Terminator is quite an eyeful. Overall, a very good movie - and great for a weekend date at home.

I am a big fan of the Terminator series of movies so while this one was the worst of the three I still thought it was pretty good. If you are a fan of these movies then you should get this to add to your collection.

Fast moving. Movie tries to pack too much information into action film. Last 30 minutes are the best of the movie. No way to stop Sky-Net or change to course of history. A must see for future Terminator Films.

I'm the biggest fan of the Terminator thats ever lived and ever will live. and even tho its not a James Cameron film or a musical score by Brad Fiedel, its still a great Terminator film.

Not as good as the 2 previous ones.. Story line is lacking, Arnold does't shine in this one..This movie just happened to come in a lot that was purchased so it got watched and was something to waste a couple of hours with !!!!

This is really a great movie. Not quite as good as the first or second ones, considering (especially the second one) they were masterpieces, but still definitely worth buying. Lots of action, cool storyline and the actors puts on some good performances. I recommend at the very least trying it out.

Well this is the conclusion to the Terminator series which i some how missed when it came out.
If you like the first two then you will like this one. Lots of action!

Have the other 2 movies and my family loves the trilogy especially my husband. We enjoy movie night at least twice a week.

I Love this movie, in that it is a serious story line it sure has a lot of humor. And the action is great. I wanted to see how this story had progressed I had seen it back in 2003 but I needed to see it again. You never know there may be alot of reality considering man is always improving the machine. Who knows maybe T4?

i bought this movie for $2.51, but shipping was $3.69, and the seller charged me .45 cents for paying him/her buy paypal. the movie costs $6.65, my frient told me he bought one at target for $5

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is about as good as any movie that is third in the series. It has a surprisingly good cast, and Arnold is back looking like a young robot. He was not young at all when he filmed this movie. The truth is that my son is a big fan of the Terminator, and anybody who enjoyed the first two movies, whether they be a cult fan or a casual fan, should at least see this movie. Especially since there is a TV series out now.

Good action scenes. The story is entertaining. The ending was appropriate to the story. I am glad they didn't choose to end it.

Arnie rocks the screen again! great film. and great special effects! You gotta see it at least once. you'll love it!

I think this movie is great the only reason I gave it a good rating was the fact that all the efforts of the first two movies seems to be like they were in vain. It does make sense by keeping John alive so that the future has a leader to fight the machines but still I was a bit disappointed at the end, but it makes sence to a point too. I suggest buying the first two so that you can really apprieciate this one.

It was at a good selling price. My boyfriend really loves this movie (I don't know why) and he had been searching for it everywhere. I found it and decided to buy it. Him and his roommates watch it all the time.
