Good sound, but leaves me perplexed
) 
I own a couple of JL discs, this being one of them - I can't argue with his playing, he certainly has the chops and the heritage behind him. However, I come away from a lot of his tunes feeling that they don't really go anywhere - a lot if it sounds like endless noodling to me. This recording is top notch sound wise, however, so I rate it 3/5.
