Tenchi Muyo! GXP - Box Set (DVD, 2007, 8-Disc Set; Viridian Collection)

enjoy it and found to very funny a Tenchi Muyo! classic a must for anyone whom loves that kind of Series...

Truly a different take on the Tenchi Muyo series GXP is truly funny, but still maintains the values of the first Tenchi Series. Our hero Seina Yamada gets recruited into the GP against his will by his parents who believe his bad luck will eventually doom them all, but when Seina's bad luck leads to the capture of pirates by Jiraiyan Princess Saito she believes his bad luck could turn the tide of war against pirates in the galaxy and pushes that Seina be admitted to the GP academy where his hijinks cause problems for student and instructors alike. This anime is one that will have you laughing none stop and admiring the underdog Seina as he becomes a shining success in the GP.

I don't know why so many people dislike this series. It is just as good as the original series. Very funny, too. A must have for any die-hard Tenchi fan.

For on off-shoot of the Tenchi series, GXP went above and beyond my expectations.
The humor and great story left me glued to it until i finished it. A great ending that for the most part ties all the loose ends. A must see for Tenchi fans.
