I recently bought Tenacious D -The complete Masterworks on DVD. I bought it as a gift for my husband for Christmas. We both enjoyed watching the crazy antics of Jack Black & Kyle Gas. It ncludes several skits, shorts, and videos, as well as a concert. It's a must have for any "D" fan. :) So check it out!!

Disc was in perfect condition. There were all the music videos, live concert, and HBO series. I couldn't find it anywhere else! I was told to check ebay and guess where i found it..EBAY!! great deal! i love the fast and free shipping too. awesome

I got this for my son who is a huge Tenacious D fan.He couldn't find a copy of "The Complete Masterworks" (vol 1) that wasn't in very bad condition.Then I looked for it on ebay and found a great deal on it with a great shipping price.The item was received faster than stated by seller.Item said very good condition in description and played like brand new when used.I would definitely buy from this user again.

i know the D have quite a few younger fans but this is NOT for them. i'm not sure how well young minds could deal with butt babies from men while tripping on LSD or selling and drinking of their own semen.

but for everyone else, its a MUST!

I only bought this now because I have already lost 2 previous copies. (I have a bad habit of recommending hilarious DVDs to friends, lending them out, and then forgetting who they went to!) The first of which I had bought the day it came out.
Tenacious D the masterworks is where it all began on HBO. Jack and Kyle are both very young and absolutely hilarious. This DVD set is amazing.. disc 1 has every episode of the original HBO mini-series and disc 2 has one of the D's first concerts and many HILARIOUS short films.
If you are a Tenacious D fan and for some reason don't own this, GET IT!! If you are a Jack Black fan in the slightest, GET IT - his funniest work!

Well, I love the band. My fiance and I both do. And we managed to catch some of the show on TV one day. Aaand~ since Christmas was coming up I decided it would make a nice gift. On top of all the other things I got him.
And it arrived just in time too! A few days before Christmas. I got to wrap it up and everything.
Of course, we watched the entire thing immediately, but it was nice to see him happy.

This DVD is filled with concerts, TV appearances, on the road segments, etc... For anyone who is a fan of the "D," I promise you will not be disappointed!

I needed the D. You know the feeling? I used to have the Hbo series on VHS.. now long gone... But ts Hot on DVD! My "karate" scene was all messed up from watching the tape so much.. So it was beautiful to finally see it again. Amazing

I am a big Tenacious D fan, so naturally I had to have this DVD. It has one disk with live show footage... not really the best, but, hey, its the D. The second disk is full of their film shorts, disurbing, but funny. So, basically, if your a D fan, you have to have this DVD.

Get it, Watch it, Love it. how could anybody not want this awesome dvd of the "d" if your not a fan now watch it and become one, the d is awesome man.

Looking to laugh your ass off and have your socks rocked off? Well if so this is the DVD for you. While it’s not the most refined comedy (be ready for a plethora of sex jokes and adult language) this collection will most definitely having you rolling around on the floor. The HBO episodes are all very funny and make the purchase worth it immediately. The concert footage is enjoyable as well. The short films are rather random but when dealing with Jack Black and/or the D you’re most likely expecting that. Add these three components together and you’re definitely going to come out on top. If you liked any of their albums, movie, or even just Jack Black this is definitely the right purchase for you.
