This movie is a true classical movie.
Charlton Heston does an amazing job as Moses.
Yul Brynner does a Fabulous job as Pharoah.
This movie is around 3 1/2 hours in length so it does take some time to watch it,but it is well worth every moment that you spend!
The sets are gorgeous and the special effects are great. (Especially when you take into consideration that this movie was made in 1956.)
A great way to relive religious history.

What Easter season is not complete without family, friends, a great meal and sitting down to watch one of the best movies ever made!
You have not seen the Ten Comandments if you haven't seen them on DVD!
The picture quality is the BEST you'll ever find. The sound is better then CD quality and if you have surround sound and a BIG screen, you will feel like you are right in the action!

I LOVE this Movie. first time I saw it in Catholic grade school. Sitting on the front row when the Sea opens up. We ALL SCREAMED! I was VERY EXCITED to get it on DVD. My First time to see the Silent Movie. That was quite the experience.I Strongly suggest anyone who can get the Movie. It's a Classic!

outstanding movie and Moses from the Basket TO HIS EARLY LIFE with with the Royal Egyptians and his return to the hebrews. This is a great movie with out standing special effects for the time it was made~ the 10 plagues of Egypt to the Parting of the Red Sea worth the watch to see it. Follows biblical history very closely.
** excellent acting by Edward G Robinson who makes you cringe every step of the way~*** I give it a solid 10 out of 10.

Can't review it...I bought it as a gift and have never seen it. My father-in-law loves it, though, and he only had a taped copy from a TV broadcast. He says the DVD version is much better (of course).

What an incredible movie. I have seen it on T.V. before, always with many, many commercials, and oh so very late. Usually, we don't get to see the whole thing. Such a pleasure to see it from the uncut beginning with no breaks except where you want them. Incredible picture and sound.

Excellent edition. Item was brand new and included was the original 10 Commandments. Definitely a collector's item.

I have been truly a fan of this movie for 39 years, It is gratifying and spiritually uplifting for me each time I see it. On this occasion, I am touch to read and see the collection of voluminous information of this movie and that era for things which I did not know.

I have always loved this movie because of the message it carries. It is extremely hard to find a decent movie with so much truth. Most modern movies seem to be full of vulgarity and carry no truth at all.

This movie is wonderful..I have never seen it on DVD..It amazes me..what effects for such a old movie. A PLUS!

Recieved in excellent condition, have wanted this DVD for my collection, and it was well worth the wait.

I wanted an updated version that has not been formatted to fit my T V screen.

What i love about it was the fact that it was the perfect gift for the person i was buying it for. I've looking for it for quite some time. It's is a great movie and i would at least advised everyone to see it once in there lifetime. Trust me it's a classic. They don't make them like this anymore.

I have always tried to watch the epic movie "The Ten Commandments" during the Easter season but with the changing of my personal work schedules the movie usually aired on Sunday evening, when I am not able to stay up later to watch the movie all the way through. So now I am capable to be able to watch whenever I want and more frquently as well.

Bought the video for my wife. She feared that TV would not show it during Easter. She was very happy to receive it, therefor, I'm delighted.
A few days after purchase, I saw the same video @ Walmart for 1/3 the price that I paid via ebay seller. Needless to say. Not delighted about that. Live & learn. Become informed and shop around prior to hasty purchase. Buyer beware. Ebay is not the portal to a buyers paradise. But this is a product review and the product is excellent.

One of my husband's all time favorite movies. Especially the 3-disc set that was offered by the seller.

I like the movie and story the best Director.
I love Charlton Heston he is a very good actor.
Importantly, for the movie or film for more than 50 yrs it was amazed the pictures was so clear and vivid, i'd really enjoy watching the movie.

Always loved this movie. Remember watching it for the first time growing up in the late 60's, early 70's. It still amazes me to see the amount of people in the cast and to be reminded of the power of our Heavenly Father. I can finally say, that I have this movie classic in my library and can watch this movie a thousand times and never get tired of it.

Moses was a man of God. There is more to learn by going to the scriptures, but this is a good, inspiring film. As a child this movie affected me, for that reason I recommend this to children- they will better understand this prophet and will likely ask questions regarding the events in the movie.

This movie has been a classic in my family. I really wanted a DVD version of it because I'm sure it will run better and be clearer than my VHS copy.

This movie has been a tradition in the family. We watched this movie every Easter and until today I like to watch it with my children. I like it.

this movie made me want to pursue film and although it is rich in religion and i am an athiest it still makes me cry every time i see the touching performances and beautiful writing. seperate from religion it still holds up as an amazing film
