Industry Reviews PreS This brightly illustrated book follows a child and a teddy bear through the steps of the jump-rope rhyme, beginning with turning around and ending with "good-night." On the left side of each double-page spread, the youngster demonstrates the action of the verse, while on the facing page, the teddy bear follows suit. The artwork is done in bold, primary colors, and basic shapes are used to form the figures. The illustrations are large and active enough to retain the attention of the very youngest audience. This would make a wonderful interactive book for the two- to three-year-old storytime crowd, who will be eager to match their own motions to those of Teddy Bear.-Kathy M.
