Tecmo Classic Arcade (Xbox, 2005)

okay, in all honesty i'm just writing this review because some of the ratings its received are unfair. for those of you who aren't familiar, this is a collection of old 1980's arcade games. ....from the 1980's. the graphics are "bad" because that's just how they looked 20 years ago. Xbox isn't collecting these games again so that you can be blown away with amazing state of the art graphics and sound, but because they're FUN and you can't find these games any more. they shouldn't be left to fade into the past. to give it a low rating based on its looks is like saying a classic movie is bad because its in black and white.

so, anyway, this disc comes with 11 games by tecmo:

tecmo bowl
rygar
pleiads
strato fighter
swimmer
solomon's key
star force
pinball action
tecmo cup
and senjyo

a nice collection of sports, fighting, action/platform, and puzzle games- there's something for everyone. good for 1 to 4 players, and its good for all ages, with only minor violence. you should be able to find this for under $10 on ebay or at a gaming store, its worth it. with 11 games in one disc, there's bound to be at least one that will keep you playing for hours on end.
