Teaser and the Firecat [Digipak] - Stevens, Cat
This collection of songs came out in 1971, at the peak of Cat Steven's popularity and has stood the test of time. It reached number two and achieved gold record status within three weeks of its release in the United States, & was also certified by the RIAA as a Multi-Platinum record in 2001, with over three million U.S. sales through that time.. It yielded several hits, including "Peace Train", "Morning Has Broken" (a Christian hymn with lyrics by Eleanor Farjeon), and "Moon Shadow", but the lesser known "If I Laugh", "The Wind", and "Tuesday's Dead" are well appreciated, too. Overall, Teaser and the Firecat is an absolute necessity for any Cat Stevens fan.
