TaylorMade r7 cgb MAX Fairway Wood Golf Club

Unfortunately these turned out to be counterfeit. The original R7s are great. You can tell fake clubs by sticking a magnet to face. If it holds they are not titanium and also check the serial numbers. I called TaylorMade and they confirmed they were fakes.

My wife owns two Taylor Made clubs and was looking to add a fairway wood to her arsenal. Much to our surprise, Taylor Made, as well as many other major brands have fraudulent replicas being made oversees from China and other sources. We were unfortunate enough to find and receive one on eBay.
I was disappointed to read feedback from buyers that were duped, not knowing that they had purchased look-alike clubs. Admitted, they are convincing frauds, and only through some research, and ultimately taking the club to a local pro-shop did we verify that it was a copy. My advice is to know your seller well. Don't buy from a seller with less than 25 positive feedback. PayPal investigated our claim, but it the verdict was certainly not a slam-dunk. We were covered this time, but don't put your hard earned dollars in jeapardy by buying from a fraudulent seller, which seem to be more prevalent on eBay. Good luck and buyer beware.

Won this club from one seller then Ebay pulled the listing for some unknown reason. I was stuck with paying for the item which turned out to be counterfeit. Why should I have paid for an item when Ebay pulled the listing?

I later won the same item from another seller which was the authentic product.Watch out for items that are supposed to be american but come from China!

The Club was a Complete Fake,Down to the Headcover. Ebay refunded My Money , Thank You Ebay and Paypal,

Great golf club. very forgiving and easy to hit the ball straight. It is one of the best clubs i've ever bought. The driver is also AWESOME, everyone who has hit it falls in love. GREAT.

This was my first bad E Bay experience and so my comments are not based on the club as it turned out to be fake. It started with the purchase and my quick payment through pay pal and notification by e bay thaT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE VENDOR, and i should cancel my purchase by filing a claim through pay pal. I did so but in the meantime i recieved the club and relesed the claim only to find out that the club was a fake and restated my claim howver i have had no response from pay pal or my challege to visa so i am out 151.00.

Truly my first negative experience and caught up with Visa, Pay Pal with no one accepteing responsibility or providing a resolution.

i bought on ebay was fake.

I bought this club to match my TaylorMade r7 cgb MAX driver. I was so impressed with the driver I decided to purchase the 3 wood. I increased the distance I hit my 3 wood by 25 yards and with the MWT technology I either hit the ball straight or with a slight draw. I wish I had bought this club a year ago. Scores are going down by 4 to 5 strokes depending on the course. Completely satisfied. I have since bought the matching TaylorMade r7 cgb MAX 5 wood.

The Taylor Made r7 cgb Max are great fairway woods, very forgiving and easy to hit. Since I play Golf in Portugal and Florida (second home) I bought a set for each place. I am in the golf business, experimenting all the new stuff which every year comes out, but I have never experimented the same feeling and got the distance that I am now getting with these clubs, specially the 3 wood. It really feels like I have regained some accuracy and distance which I thought I had lost in the last years due to age.

There are two reasons these clubs are at the top of the "Hot List". Easy to hit
farther, straighter, and they help TaylorMade remain the King in Drivers, and fairway Woods.

It has been over two weeks and I still have not received my item. Charge on my credit card has gone through over a week ago; still wondering if I am going to receive it.

I have the CGB Max driver , #7, #5. and i thought i needed the #3. Many holes you don't need driver and the #3 can fit the ticket. It takes a little getting used to however. It is a little longer than the 5, and not as much loft. The thing about the CGB Max line that i love is when you hit that ball right it makes a distinctive PING that is music to my ears. It is beautiful. The R7 isn't as expensive as the R9.

I bought it because I like the feel and the way it plays. This purchase completed my set of woods and fits in with my driver and 3 wood.

Club sets up great, easy to swing and control; have had both regular and stiff flex; stiff flex results in lower trajectory but straighter shots without sacrificing much distance; regular flex flight is higher but dispersion is a bit more on mis-hits. Re-Ax 55 shaft is great- I highly recommend these clubs and am looking for the 7 wood.

The true Taylormade r7 CGB Max fairway clubs are excellent. The low-price clubs bought on eBay are likely not backed by the Taylormade guarantee. While they have all of the markings of true Taylor Made clubs including shafts, grips, headcovers, and heads(with serial numbers), they likely are cosemetic rejects that find their way from the Chinese manufacturers to eBay, etc. via sellers located in the USA. The cosemetic blimishes may or may not affect playability. While the sellers assure that they are being mailed from United States locations, you will likely receive a package from China. By the time you receive the package, the seller has closed the eBay account and you can not contact the seller. Even if you have an email address, you likely will not get any response - at least not any satisfactory resolution.

I bought a Taylormade r 7 3 wood .... the picture of it was displaying a new club. The club I recieved was noy only used but abused as well . Hopefully the seller will refund the money that was paid to her from pay-pal . I will no longer buy anything from E-Bay unless I can hold it in my hand first .

The club is not manufactured by TaylorMade; it is a fake. The club is heavier than a true TaylorMade club and very difficult to hit well. I am attempting to return the club and obtain a refund.

The clubs delivered were counterfit. Paypal abandoned me stating since product was delivered they could do nothing. The seller disappeared not responding to any communications. Ebay has lost a customer.

The clubs I purchased are as good or better than i was expecting. They took slightly a bit longer than i anticipated coming from China. But they are easy to work with and communicate with I am happy with my purchase.

Great clug for the price I got it for, since I almost bought this at the store of $45.00 more. It also came with the wrench to change weigth differential and that was a plus.

I have the Driver and bought the faiarway wood to match. I like the club and it matches my Driver. I am satisfied. TaylorMade Woods are great.
