TaylorMade R7 CGB MAX Iron Sets

I would strongly caution anyone bidding on any of these clubs. Do your research first. Many sets
of these clubs listed and sold are knock offs. Many can be spotted in the sellers pictures if one knows what to look for. Do your homework on the net prior to bidding there is a lot of good info out there on
how to spot counterfeits. Unfortunately some of the visual discrepancies are so small that you cannot tell the difference until clubs are in hand. Chinese manufacturers that duplicate these clubs are focused on making them look authentic rather than perform that way. I would doubt the loft and lie on each iron would measure true to specs. This would make a difference in how they play on the course. If the seller shows a TaylorMade "stock" image with the description you have no way to identify them before hand. Most buyers are getting these clubs and cannot visually tell the difference even when in hand. The difference will show in play out on the course or maybe a year later when the head comes off the shaft at the end of your swing during a round with your buddies. Serial numbers can be duplicated and TaylorMade will no longer verify them anyhow. New clubs should include a warranty card, etc. Ask the seller questions before bidding/buying. Ask yourself this question - if these clubs sell for $1200 at a retailer, how can an Ebay seller afford to let them go for $600 or less and still make money? Finally, if you already bought or received a set, take your clubs to an authorized dealer for comparison and authentication before using them. Good luck.
