I turned in my Nike Forged Blades for the TM R7 TP's. Just so you know I tried callaway x-20's, nike pro-combo's, titist blades, TM RAC Blades, TM R7's and King Cobra MB Blades before finally deciding on the R7 TP's. Although they are not forged, they have an amazing feel and you can still work the ball very well. Very easy to get the low irons up and mishits are more forgiving than blades. Switched the factory grips to Golf Pride 60rd red and got even more feedback from the irons. These irons will stay in my bag for a long time to come. I've went from a 14-15 handicap prior to getting the clubs to a 7.4 right now. I've played a number of different irons from cavity backs to musclebacks to blades and all different brands. These irons give me the best combination of feel, workability, and control. If you're a serious golfer, do not go with the regular R7's, spend the little extra money and get the TP's, the difference is priceless.

I absolutely love these irons. Went from Callaway Big Berthas to these and they hit higher and sraighter by far. Although these are supposedly for the low handicapper,I think golfers of all levels could use these irons. I have a 12 handicap, am 65 years old, and they work just fine for me. Also, I took up golf just 3 years ago, so happily, find them very forgiving as well.They are beautiful irons, from the aesthetic point of view, too.
